—FRIENDS IN AUTUMN—
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN;
ITS JUST SALT & PEPPER!"YEAH! Suck on my non existent balls!" We were all panting at this point, the boys have gone shirtless and so have I. Luckily I wore a sports bra, I don't even know why I brought it.
"It's not over yet! If we get a three pointer Jackson and I win the game." I scoff and walk next to Cody. "Yeah, like that'll happen."
It happened.
We lost. And now we have to cook dinner for a bunch of beasts. After countless times of the both of us asking for a rematch we finally gave up and headed towards the market.
"What do we even make for them?" I sigh resting my head on my fist. Honestly I'm somewhat happy that I get to spend this time with him even if we're barley going to talk.
"Thank you." I furrowed my eyebrows together. "I don't think I know that dish."
"No, I mean thanks for fixing up my cut." I totally forgot about that. "Oh right. Yeah it's no problem." After a few minutes of awkward silence I opened up the window to let the cold air distract me for a bit. I was still deciding on what we should cook for dinner and I'm sure he was to.
"How about spaghetti?" He suggests. Thats honestly the easiest thing to cook, but it didn't seem to enough for all of us. "How about chili? Thats pretty easy to make." He nods still looking on the road.

After a few hours of cooking And cleaning the kitchen both Cody and I called all the beasts down stairs to eat. And they all loved it. Well most of them. "Oh my gosh what's in here?" Piper started fanning her self while sticking out her tongue. "Why? There's nothing wrong with it. The chili tastes fine." I say taking another bite.
"Its so hot. Its too spicy! I feel like I'm going to die! What spices did you put in here?!" I roll my eyes ignoring the fact that she's over reacting. We didn't even put any spice in here, the store had ran out of them.
"I think you're over reacting." I muttered. "I am not, this is too spicy! What is in this?!"
"It's just salt and pepper." Chris gave me a look. "Shouldn't you put like paprika and cumin or whatever." I nod, "They didn't have any so we just got salt and pepper."
After pipers whole fiasco saying that I'm lying and put in some spices to make her look bad we all calmed down and sat around the campfire. "Do any of you have some interesting stories?" Jackson asks. Matt immediately raised his hand and begged Jackson to pick him. "Alright Matt go ahead."
As Matt was celebrating there was Caroline with crossed fingers quietly mumbling, "Please not that story, please not that story."
"This is the story of how Caroline got poop on her face!" I looked over to her smirking. She looks as if she's given up on life.
"Please not this Matt." We all ignored her protests and he began to tell the story. I miss Caroline I feel like a terrible friend for having keep in all these emotions when I know she wants me to tell her.
She wants to help but I'm not letting her, and I know that makes her feel like the bad friend. When really it's me, this thanksgiving I'm going to talk to her all night long. "She literally ate shi–"
"MATTHEW! Aish chincha geseki. YAH..." It's no surprise she started to cuss him out in Korean it's also not a surprise that he looks completely lost yet scared at the same time. He looks over to me asking what she just said.
"I don't know she has a whole new vocabulary now. Plus she's speaking really fast." Despite the fact that Caroline was cursing while hitting Matt at the same time we all were having a good time. Even Piper was laughing, and I didn't feel like punching her in the face in this moment.
