Reaching the hospital he ran inside to the reception not caring that he was looking like a maniac. Bella just followed him with a sad gloomy face and a thought came to her mind "he loves her so much...".
" Excuse me. Sanyukta Aggarwal. Accident case." He huffed looking at receptionist.
She looked at him " OT 305 on third floor" she said pointing to the elevators.
He at once took the elevator. Rushing towards 305 he saw panicky nurses and doctors going in and out of the OT. Also there was police. Yes he saw right. There was police.
Not bothering about them he pulled a doctor who came out just now.
"How is she?" He looked at him with puppy eyes.
"We'll come to you shortly". The doctor replied amd went somewhere only to return with some other doctors.
An old inspector came to him.
"Excuse Me gentleman. May i know who are you to the patient?" He asked.
" i..i am her fiancé." He replied looking at the direction of the OT thinking she will suddenly barge out and say "What yrr Shekhawat?? Itte me darr gya?" But alas this wasn't the case.
"Okay so as you see this was an accident but i must tell you that it was a planned one. We need your co-operation to find out the culprit. Before you ask how i would tell you that the brake pipe of her car was badly vandalised and mishandled. Our condolences to you but do you have a doubt on anyone". The inspector asked with as much concern he can show towards him as his profession allowed.
" planned? But she can't have an enemy. She is too sweet to have one. Why would someone harm her." He was shocked would be an understatement.
" i know who it maybe" Bella's voice came from behind making him shoot his head up.
" may i know who you are?" The inspector asked.
" i am his ex girlfriend " she replied and he looked shocked. Why was universe so messing up with him? While she just blinked in assurance.
"Will you tell whom do you suspect?" Inspector asked again.
"I don't suspect sir. I am sure that he is the one behind it". Bella looked determined.
She told the inspector everything from her one night stand with Zach to his blackmail to the wrong file and then his threat.
She pressed her face in her palms stopping herself to cry anymore while looking up she saw hurt paas through his face. That was one emotion she was dreading to see on his face.
" we need to check the cctv footage of the parking area." He stood up and made phone calls.
After a while a junior policeman came to inform that her parents have been informed and they might reach tomorrow anytime in the afternoon.
It was only few minutes to the investigation session when doctor team came out with sad sighs on their face.
He rushed to them and hoped for a positive reply.
" we are sorry but she is sinking. We have tried every possible way but there is a lot of blood loss and inner bleedings as well. We can only hope for a miracle now or else we might lose her. There are just 15% chances of her survival". The doctor said patting his back and went away discussing something with ithers and the inspector.
Bella kept her hand on his shoulder and mumbled "She will be fine i am sure. I know you love her and she will have to come back to you".
He shrugged her hand with a force and clutcjed her shoulders tightly.
" what is the point now? What is left? I might hear from them tomorrow that i lost her. I may lose her without even telling her what she means to me." He jerked her and stormed out of the elevator.
