He went out of the hospital to grasp the air. Running on the footpath he was taking out the frustration. He suddenly fell on his knees in an excluded corner of a park burrying his face in his hands he let out a frustrated scream.
He started thinking about his life. He claimed to have loved a girl who basically cheated on him and was the reason of his supposed fiancé's present condition. He laughed thinking about the word "fiancée". The word might mean the world to some people but for him few days back it just meant nothing more than a storm which came in his life like a silent whistle. If it wouldn't have been for grannies he wouldn't have realised what would staying away from her meant. It meant no arguments no teasing no after fight apologies and no consolations. He still wanted to know the reason why she cried that day? It was strange but he still remembers that day clearly in his memory. There was some pain in her eyes which led them settle in a peace treaty.
He sat on the bench in the park and closed his eyes. He was thinking of the possibilities which could happen with him in a day. She might make it she might not. But she will have to make it. For him, for them and for the family.
He didn't realise when his eyelids became heavy and he slept under the blanket of stars hoping that universe might become a little greatful towards him.
His slumber thinned by a phone call. He narrowed his eyes as sunrays hit him hard on his face. Quickening heartbeats told him it might not be a good news but anyhow he checked the phone and sighed. It was from his dad.
" hello...pa..papa" he spoke.
" Randhir bete where are you? We are in hospital. Inhone bataya tum kal raat se nahi aaye. Na hi phone utha rahe ho. Its aftenoon beta. Sanyukta isn't very well. Please come soon." He said into the phone and before he could say further Randhir cut the call and sprinted towards the hospital.
Once reaching there people stared at him. Red eyes, pale face, disheveled state.
Police inspector came to him as soon as he saw Randhir.
" We checked the cctv Sir. The man Zach paid the security guard to manhandle the car. He wasn't smart enough to jam the cctvs. They both are now under arrest. Ms Bella is ready to give the statement so we won't have a problem. We all will pray for her recovery." He said and went away giving him a copy of chargesheet of the case.
" How is she?" He asked his dad.
Before he could answer they heard Anju's shriek from ICU where only one family member was allowed. They rushed calling the doctor out loud.
