Surprise...?

I went up the stairs to the clock on my stove. It was 1:00. The sun doesn't set for seven hours. I don't think I could wait that long.

A hand touched my shoulder and I jumped a little. I turn around to see 13 behind me.

"It's going to take a while isn't it?" He let go and walked towards the stove. Staring at the glowing green numbers.

"Yeah it's going to be a while until the sun sets. I just can't think of anything to do while we wait." I turned around towards my room and started to walk to it. 13 doesn't like it when I'm in here.

Right before I touched my door knob. He was in front of me. "13, get out of the way." He shook his head and frowned. "Come on I need to change. I've been in these clothes all morning and yesterday."

He tilted his head to think. "Fine." He moved out of the way and I went into my room.

"This is going to be difficult for me. The queen did say that I would have some fun getting used to the new kind of living." I threw off my shirt and took off my pants. I grabbed a fresh pair and put them on. "Oh that feels much better to have clean clothes." I went back to the door and turned the handle. 13 stood just out the door and I ran into him again. "13, you need to move to the side at least." I patted his head and went to the family room where all the other aliens are.

"So do you guys have anything planned?" I jumped on the couch and crossed my legs.

They were hitting or flicking at each other like there playing their own little games. "No not really." Shadow put her hand under her jaw and yawned.

"Well we just can't sit here. I'm pretty sure it's not healthy for you guys." I looked at Litho and she jumped up and started to do some sort of workout.

"Come on guys do it with me." Litho shouted and the other aliens jumped up and tried to copy what she was doing.

"Do you even know what your doing?" I asked.

"Of corse I do." She kept going and the aliens behind her lost track of where they were.

"I don't think your candidates know that." Litho looked behind her and all the aliens were confused, but one. 13... "Well your a warrior. So it doesn't count." 13 rolled his head. "Every type needs there own kind. Trust me on this." Litho stopped and sat down again. All the aliens looked relieved. "Okay... We are going to plan a day thing to go out during the day that doesn't attract too much attention."

The xenomorphs pondered and I watched as they all thought. "I don't have a clue that will not be noticeable." Jagger crossed her arms in frustration.

"We can dominate this area and we won't have to worry about all the people." 13 spoke up and looked at me.

"Right... isn't that going to be hugely noticeable. Hey look a giant nest. Lets blow it up for fun and stop the spread of this creature." I smiled and 13 frowned. "I'm just saying. We have no idea what Stalker might do. She has her own rules and this can cause this place to be blown up or if she can somehow get past that and spread fast and big, she might be able to stop this explosion." I put my fist on my lap.

"That's what I'm saying. We need to spread faster. If we don't Stalker is going to rule this place and eliminate us." 13 did have a point.

"That means we need to set eggs everywhere before we can let them hatch. We even have to hit the next city and quickly go on from there." Litho and Zukua were interested in this conversation.

"Plus we have to kill the other queen. If not there can be huge problems later." Jagger joined the circle and listened.

"Wait.... how long ago did you meet Stalker?" 13 had a new expression on his face. A discussed face.

"Yesterday night." Shadow mouth gaped.

"That means she should be a queen any moment now if not already. She could be making an army right now." That got the attention of me.

"We need to move out now. Somehow we need to move unseen." I stood up and 13 did too.

"We can use the sewers. They are unnoticed and are a quick way around the town." 13 looked at the other aliens. They nodded with agreement.

"The thing is. They are in the middle of the street, with some friendly street watchers out and about. I don't think it's the safest." I started to chew on a nail. I only do this when I'm stressed or nervous.

"Maya has a point 13." Litho stood up too. "She is the only one who can leave the house without anything suspicious rising within the town." The other aliens stood up too and watched.

"Litho. you just may have a point." I ran into the kitchen. On the counter I have a bowl full of pencils and pens. I then dashed into another room and grabbed a couple sheets of paper. "I can leave the house right?"

The xenos looked at me and then each other. "Okay. anyway, I can leave. Maybe I can cause something to happen and cause all the people to be distracted. I can also find a way to get you guys out of this house at least." 13 smiled and the others smiled too.

"It's worth a try." Shadow left the front room to look out the front window. Children playing in fresh green grass and adults doing house work or other jobs around the home. "She is the only one who can go out. Especially in this kind of a condition."

Zukua came by Shadow. "Your right. I don't like being locked up in this house all the time." They looked at each other and left the window.

"So you are going to leave right now. To see if there is a way for us to go out unseen?" 13 walked up to Maya.

"Well yeah. I think you guys are suffering inside. And I don't like it." I walked to the kitchen to see what the time was again.

"I'm not suffering." 13 smiled and I looked behind me.

"Sure your not." The time on the clock was 4:27. "It felt like it was a few days being in here. "It's only been three hours. I'm going to die." I laid on the floor and 13 turned his head to the side. He looked confused.

"Why lay on the floor?" I stared back at him and he stared into my eyes.

"I'm being a dramatic teen. Just let me do it." I laughed. 13 was still confused.

He kept staring at me and I turned my eyes green. 13 jumped up and away at the sudden change. "Don't do that."

"What" I giggled.

"Your eyes trick thingy micbob" I laughed harder and Litho joined me. She was watching the whole thing from the side.

"Nice Maya." I stood up and gave Litho a High-Five. "His face was priceless." Litho and I started to head over to the front door. "Are you sure your ready for this?" Litho's voice is full of concern.

"Yeah, I think I will be okay." I slowly opened the door and the cooler air met my face. 13 was twitchy because he couldn't come out with me. "13, I'm going to be okay. Relax a bit and watch the house." I stepped through the door and closed it behind me. Some people across the street are watching me and I acted normal. You can say. I went over to my car and started the engine. "I hope this plans work." I backed out of my driveway. The next thing I hear was the loudest screech I've heard. A xenomorph hopped on the car and was bashing the glass with its head. "What the hell!" I started to scream. The other people around me ran into there homes and shut there curtains. I didn't see a single person outside at the moment.

Another screech and a second alien jumped onto my car. It was scratching the metal around the window. "You guys are not one of mine!" They did not look familiar to me.

Every time the one alien hit the window it crack and split farther and farther from each other. It had a determined look. The other alien was still going at full force. The sound of metal against there claws sounded like metal against metal.

They kept screeching and hissing. The last hit. The final blow took out the glass window shield. The alien poked its head through and I jumped into the back of my car. "Stay back!" The aliens looked at each other and smiled. "I'm warning you!" They started to laugh.

They got closer and closer to me. "That's enough!" Something just took over me. Like an instinct.

My eyes turned green and that shocked the aliens. They stopped and tilted there head to the side. After a few seconds of staring they opened there mouths and stared with blank expressions. "I think that's the one." The one on the right whispered.

"Her eyes glow. That's not right." The one on the left whispered.

"Get out of this car or I'm going to beat you guys." They broke out laughing at her comment. "I'm not joking." I said it with the most mean kind of voice I could manage.

"We will just take you to our queen. She wants to have you... and another alien. Which I don't see why she wants." They got closer.

My anger was rising and I was getting impatient with there corporation. My skin started to turn to that black color. The faces on the aliens was another wave of shock. "I told you to leave me ALONE!!!" I lunged at the aliens and they quickly backed out of the window. They were not as carful as they were coming in. They had cut themselves on the glass and little pools of acid was eating through the car.

"What the...?" The aliens were on the street. They backed away and ran off towards the trees.

Anger was filled up inside of me. Steam seemed to come off me like a train. I looked at my self and I was the blackish color. "Oh no. Why do I do this. I have no control over my stupid emotions when it comes to this." I ran behind my house hoping that nobody saw me on the way.

My skin slowly going back to the original color and a few cuts were left behind from chunks of glass that flew at me. "13 is going to flip when he sees me." I went to the back door and opened it. All the aliens came rushing and pulled out there defensive form. Hissing at me. Then they realized who it was.

"Oh sorry." Shadow smiled.

"It's okay." I went to the kitchen table chair and sat down. "That was freaking scary." I let my hands hang over the top of the chair. I desired to sit in it backwards.

13 came bursting through the room. "Who is it?" He looked around. His gaze was settled on me. "What happened!" He rushed over and looked at the little scratches on my face.

"I was ambushed by a couple of aliens." I flat out told them in a normal way.

"What do you mean ambushed my aliens?" 13's face grew more angry by the second.

"I was ambushed by aliens.... From a different hive. They wanted to take me and someone else to the hive." 13 turn to boil with anger.

"That little bastard." He stomped through the rooms and came back to Maya. "She has aliens already? And there running loose in the city? She doesn't give a damn about safety." This was the angriest I've heard 13 act. Even the other aliens are fearing him. They all took a couple steps away to let him blow his steam.

"It's okay 13. We are going to go find her nest tonight." He seemed to relax a tad bit.

"Your not going out again, by yourself." He used a more commanding voice than a suggesting one.

"Who made you boss?" I smiled and looked at him.

"Says me, the male of the group." He smiled back.

"Whatever." I through my hands up in the air and walked away towards the couch. I hope tonight is going to be worth it. I don't want anything to happen while we are gone.
