After spending an entire thirty minutes recovering from Brendon's not-so-vicious assault, Ryan finally made it to the record shop.He winced at the sound of bells clanging, knowing that Josh would know he was late.
"Ryan Ross!"
Josh's surprisingly soft voice called from the back of the store and Ryan stared at the beaded curtain until the purple-haired man appeared.
"Hi, Josh."
Ryan gave a half-hearted smile and threw his bag on the counter,
"I was assaulted!"
He exclaimed, sliding over the glass and to the other side of his work station.
"You were not, dude!"
Josh laughed at Ryan and proceeded to grab a large cardboard box from the ground,
"Tell me what actually happened."
"Okay, well I was naked and there was a guy watching me from my window but I didn't mind so I kept doing my shit. Then we ordered the same drink at Halsey's and he followed me
down an alley and pinned me against the wall."Ryan inhaled, having not breathed that entire story, and looked at Josh with moon sized eyes.
"But he didn't hurt you, did he?"
"Er-no."
"So get your little ass back to
work."Josh smacked Ryan's ass and continued to lug boxes into the back of the small building.
Ryan sighed and leaned against the thick glass of the counter, placing his chin in his hand.
The bells chimed and the door swung open, waking Ryan from his daydream.
"Hey, moon eyes!"
It was Brendon. He approached the counter with a smirk, and leaned across the thick glass.
"You followed me to work?"
Ryan perked up and leaned back in surprise. He stared intently at Brendon,
Yup.
Still hot.
"Nope. I just like music."
Brendon winked and turned to look through the endless rows of vinyls.
Behind him, Ryan let out an exaggerated sigh, and went back to counting the money in the register."What are you complaining about?"
Josh asked, resurfacing from the wall of beads.
"You see that guy, the hot one?"
Ryan whisper-yelled, pointing to Brendon who was currently looking at punk-pop vinyls.
"He is hot..."
Josh smirked, cocking an eyebrow.
