Who knew that a beggar and a princess could be soul mates?

This is a tale of love in a world where people are destined to find their soul mates.

On their 18th birthday, a boy will receive a dog tag, and a girl will receive a necklace that has a heart attached to it, and will glow brighter than a star when they have found their soulmate.

It is a mandatory thing, no one can get out of it. It may take years, months, travelling the world to find one's soulmate. However, very rarely, all it can take is a letter.
