The sun was shining brightly through my blinds when I woke up the next morning. There was chatter downstairs. I froze and just barely made out the words. "She's upstairs. I'm pretty sure she's still sleeping but you can go on up. Those are beautiful by the way." I could tell that the voice belonged to my mother. I think she's talking to Liam. "Thank you. Good morning Aria." yep, definently Liam. His deep Wolverhampton accent sticks out anywhere. "Hi." a scratchy, tired voice responded. Must be Aria. She isn't a great morning person. "Oh and Liam." my mom spoke again. "Yes?" he asked. "Keep it clean upstairs." she joked. "I always do." he answered before headng up the stairs.
I quickly resettled myself in the blankets and acted like I was sleeping, deepening the sound of my breath. I was facing the wall, the opposite wall from the door so I could only hear. My door creaked open and Liam quietly swore. Smooth as butter. I'm not that light of a sleeper. I heard the crumbling of plastic as he set something down next to me. Most likely the nightstand. My bed pulled down as Liam sat on it. He carefully shook me. "Char, wake up." he whispered. "Go away." I pulled the blankets higher over my head. I was predending I didn't know it was him. "I'm not leaving." he laughed. "Oh, hi Liam." I rubbed my eyes, looking up to his smiling face hovering over mine.
"Hi." he leaned in and gave me a quick peck on the lips. "That's all I get?" I jokingly asked. "Wait for it." he turned to grab a bouquet of flowers off my nightstand. "Here." he presented them to me. "I love them." I squealed. "Well, they are purple." he said. Purple's my favorite color. "Why wouldn't they be? You picked them out." I giggled. Another kiss followed. "Get up and get dressed. It's pretty warm out. Short's work. Make sure you have a sweatshirt too." he instucted me. "Yes sir." I saluted him and climbed out of bed and skipped into the bathroom. I spent a few minutes in the bathroom doing the normal stuff. When I opened my door, Liam was spread out on my bed. "You look adorable in your little Cookie Monster pj's." he commented as I walked around the room brushing my teeth. "I know." I did a little dance and almost choked on the toothpaste in my mouth.
When I finished brushing my teeth I went into my closet to change. "What type of shoes?" I asked. "Sneakers." Liam answered. I came out in light- wash jean shorts and my black 1D hoodie where all of them signed there names in the "D" on top. For shoes, I had red Converse with white laces. "Wow." he stood up and walked over to me. "What?" I asked. "You look stunning. Nice sweatshirt by the way." he held onto my waist. "Thank you." I smiled and quickly kissed him. "You ready?" he asked. I nodded. "More than ever." I took his hand and led him downstairs to the kitchen.
"Mornin' everyone!" I said to everyone in the kitchen. "You two look so cute together! I'll be right back. Stay out." she stood from her bar stool and ran out of the room. "She wouldn't." I said to my dad. "She is." he smiled and took a bite of toast. "What is the happy couple doing today?" Aria sounded a little more awake. "Someone won't tell me." I said looking at Liam. "It's a surprise." he used as an excuse once again. My mom reappeared with her camera in her hand. "Picture time!" she turned on the camera and waved it around. Kill me now. "Stand over there and smile." she instructed us. We did as she said and posed for her. Liam stood behind me and grabbed my waist. "Why does it sem like you're getting taller?" I felt like I was looking up to him. I really wasn't though. He's 5' 10" while I'm 5' 8". I'm actually pretty tall for a girl. "Maybe you're just getting shorter." he said. I pouted a little. "Smile!" my mom shouted and snapped a picture. The flash was really bright. It didn't even phase Liam. Me in the other hand, I saw white spots for a few seconds.
After about five minutes of constant pictures and the stupid flash, we finally got ready to go. "we'll be back later." Liam winked and walked out the door. "Have fun guys! Be safe!" my mom yelled behind us. "Be safe? What the hell? We're not five." I said as we got into the Camero. "She's your mother." Liam shrugged as we backed out of the driveway and started driving to the still unknown destination.
