From a distance, I could hear the sirens of an ambulance outside the Police station. Then, the door of the lounge room burst open, making me jolt out of my skin.

"Jimin! Jimin! Your parents- they are murdered!" Taeril exclaimed as he entered the room.

"What?!" I pretended to be shocked.

My eyes widened and my hands covered my mouth as I faked a gasp. I had to force tears out of my eyeballs just so to make it more believable.

"Come, come, I'll bring you there!" Taeril pushed me in my wheelchair and out of the lounge room.

I rolled my eyes.

I'll just have to pretend to be sad then.

As Taeril brought me towards the front door of the Police station, I could see paramedics placing my parents on stretchers.

Pfft, they think they can save my parents? Just put them into body bags already.

Taeril brought me to see my mum first. I just stared at her dead body and blanked out. However, I had to force my tears out and pretend to be all solemn.

Okay next.

Then, I was brought to my dad and was disgusted by the amount of blood flowing out from everywhere.

Wow, I can't believe I did this.

Afterwards, Taeril pulled me away from my parents before turning me to face him.

"We'll help you find the person who killed your parents," he told me.

Bruh, the killer is just right here.

I just nodded and pretended to sniff before looking away.

I should get an award for good acting.

Days past by real quick so my death trial was nearing. And yet, no one knows who had killed my parents. Day after day, Taeril and Seoyun took turns to enter my cell, telling me about some clues they had found and who they suspected might be the killer however, they still could not find who it was. But I had to pretend.

Everything's a pretence.

I wondered if I could survive this way until 30 August.

I was lying on my bed when my door burst open. I looked up to see Taeril coming in with two other officers.

"Get up," Taeril demanded, pulling my arm.

"What's this about?" I asked, a little confused.

Taeril did not respond and so did the other officers. Instead, they handcuffed me, something they do not usually do. I was forced to leave my cell and was brought to the usual interrogation room. I was told to sit at a chair opposite Taeril and a minute later, Seoyun entered.

"What's this about?" I asked again, putting my handcuffed hands on the table.

Taeril rolled his eyes before slamming a document onto the table.

"Don't try to act like you don't know. You obviously know what this is about!" He exclaimed furiously.

I just stared at him blankly.

So he found out I killed my parents?

"You killed your parents! Do you know how ruthless you are?!" Taeril shouted.

I guess I'm right.

"That took you long enough to find out," I simply said.

Taeril slammed the table again, making Seoyun jolt.

"Calm down. I'll talk to him," Seoyun whispered to him.

She then turned to face me, showing a stern look.

"You're going to court again tomorrow. Also, your previous lawyer chose to step out of your case so you have a new one. You'll meet him tomorrow," she uttered.

"I don't need him. I'll die anyways," I scoffed.

Taeril immediately stood up from his seat, causing it to make a screeching sound before leaving the room.

I guess he's so done with my bullshits.

He then slammed the door shut.

"You know your death trial will be push forward, right?" Seoyun asked me.

"Yep," I responded with a smile.

She shook her head in disapproval.

Since I was still handicapped, I was pushed in a wheelchair into a juvenile court. A huge smile could be seen on my face as I looked around.

My death is coming and I can't wait.

I met my lawyer, Jay, awhile ago and he said he would try his best to help me.

"You can't. I killed my parents- there's no way you can help me," I told him.

However, he brushed me off and entered the court room with me. As I entered, I saw the judge sitting at a higher platform at the front before giving her a wave.

In return, she gave me a stern look, cocking an eyebrow at the same time. I assumed she had acknowledged me and smiled.

I was then brought to a place with a gate at the lower platform and was locked in. I looked out of the gate to see Jay sitting at a table a few metres away from me. Then, my court trial began.

I zoned out and almost drifted off to sleep during the trial. Jay showed some evidences to the judge and juries but of course, they were not satisfied. They mentioned on the three people I had murdered and how all was on purpose.

Right after that, I had a shock of my life.

"Where's his doctor?" The judge asked.

My lawyer told her that I did not have any doctor--or a psychiatrist.

Err what? I'm not crazy.

"Seeing his state, he could be mentally unstable. Bring him to a psychiatrist and we'll continue this some other time," the judge responded.

I was lost for words.

I'm not crazy.

I'm not crazy.

I'm not crazy.

I'm not crazy.
