- JIMIN

I was awoken by the knocks on my door. I gently opened my eyes to see myself in a small room surrounded with white walls.

Right. I'm still in my cell.

"Jimin, wake up," I heard someone outside, following by a few more knocks on the door.

I sat up from my bed before dragging my feet across the floor towards the door. I opened it up to see Taeril, again.

"Jimin, we need to talk to you. Come," he instructed me to follow him.

I followed him and was brought to a familiar-looking room. It was actually the same room I went yesterday. Seoyun, the lady officer, was there sitting at a chair and had her head up upon seeing me entering.

"What's this about?" I asked, confused.

"Please sit," Seoyun told me.

I sat down on the chair opposite her while Taeril sat beside her. I looked to them with a puzzled look.

"Jimin, your principal, Mr Kim–– he was murdered last night," Seoyun uttered.

I froze in my seat, still trying to process what she had said.

"No, you're lying," I could not believe her words.

She shook her head before handing over a document. She told me to flip it open and right at that moment, my heart raced. I looked through it to see Mr Kim lying on the floor of his office in school with blood splattered everywhere.

"H-how did this happen?" I asked, my eyes were glistening.

"For this, there's proof. We checked the CCTV outside his office to see a man entering the office. Then minutes later, that man left with blood all over his shirt," Taeril responded.

"See, I told you it's not me! It's definitely Uncle Dan! I'm telling you!" I asserted.

I was already tearing up. The only person who could get me out of here was already dead.

How would I ever get out of here now?

Taeril and Seoyun looked to each other before turning back at me.

"Can you tell us more about Uncle Dan? Like err... does he have relatives that you know?" Taeril asked.

"He has a brother but he's dead. He killed his brother," I responded.

"You know that won't help us in thi––"

"It will! His name is Kwon Daejung and his body is in the mortuary back in school," I cut Taeril off.

"But he's dead. What do you want us to do there?" Taeril cocked an eyebrow at me.

"I don't know––bury him? Just get him out of the mortuary," I begged.

Taeril sighed.

"We'll try our best," he simply said before standing up.
