ABI gaped at the Light. What he was talking about was borderline treason, and Abi felt butterflies flutter in her stomach at the thought.

"What do you mean, take down the Abbadon?" Abi demanded, leaning in closer to the Light. A cocky smile crossed his face.

"So you're interested?" he asked. Abi's face blushed red as she realized how close she was to him, and she leaned back coolly.

"It depends," Abi replied, "What would I have to do?" The Light's eyes lit up and he rummaged around in his bag for something. He pulled out a datapad and handed it to Abi.

"You'd really just have to report the Abbadon's actions to the organization for a while. Since you're on her team, our executives figured that you'd be one of the best ones for the job. Abi looked down at the datapad sitting in her lap and shrugged.

"Sure," she said, "All I have to do is report on the things the Abbadon does?" The Light nodded. He stood up briskly and held out his hand for Abi to shake, and Abi took it cautiously. Abi silently nodded at him as he left, shutting the door quietly behind him. She sat down on the couch with a huff and ran her hand through her tangled scarlet locks. The datapad glinted from where it sat on Abi's leg and she picked it up and turned it on. The opening screen blinked up at her as the datapad came to life, and Abi quickly set about personalizing the device. She set a pass code and changed the background of the pad. Opening the contacts, Abi set Pierce's datapad next to hers and synced them together, adding Peirce to her contact book and him to hers. After about an hour of fiddling around with her datapad, Abi got bored. She hardened her resolve and decided to go back to the training wing, but as she stepped out the door she realized that she didn't know the way. She began to walk aimlessly until she bumped into a servant.

"Oh!" the servant, who was a pretty young Light with auburn hair and sincere blue eyes, exclaimed. The Light quickly dropped into a curtsy. "Begging your pardon, Miss. My head seems to be in the clouds today." Abi smiled at the girl as she rose from her curtsy and stood with her hands clasped behind her back. "Can I do anything for you Miss?"

"Yes, actually," Abi replied happily, "I was wondering if you could escort me to the training wing." She gestured to the gems decorating her forehead and the Light nodded her understanding.

"Follow me please Miss," the Light chirped happily, "The training wing is only a bit from here." Abi followed the girl, who led her through the Castle with all the ease of someone who grew up there. Within moments Abi and the servant girl were standing in front of the training hall doors. Abi turned to the girl and bowed slightly at the waist.

"Thanks so much for your help," Abi said, and the Light smiled and curtsied once again in return.

"No problem Miss," she said, "If you need anything, my name is Lily, Miss, just ask for me." Lily grinned at Abi before walking away with a spring in her step. Abi wrenched open the big heavy door to the training hall and walked into the main gym. The Elemental teams were hard at work so nobody paid her any mind. Abi walked quietly back to the team dorms, where Tal and Jo were sitting, taking their morning break after running. They both jumped up when they saw Abi and wide smiles broke out on their faces.

"Abi!" they exclaimed in unison, "You're back!" Jo's eyes lit up and her gems began to glow more brightly than before as she rushed over to Abi to give her a hug. Tal's gems lit up as well and the room looked like a big light bulb had just been switched on. Tal snatched Abi up into a hug as soon as Jo let her go, and then they both stood back from Abi and studied her and her lack of arm.
