Chapter 2 ~ Their First Day

Leilani put her feet on the seat in front of her and slid down her seat. She put in her earbuds and listened to Bubblegum Bitch, Black Magic, Take a Hint, and How to be a Heartbreaker. Yvetta put her headphones on and listened to My Demons, Horrible Kids, Get Ugly, and Pull Up. They finally arrived at Phoenix Drop High. Leilani and Yvetta paused their music. "Oh, hey, Yve, guess what?" Leilani looked mischievously at Yvetta. "What, Lei?" Leilani snapped her fingers and her skateboard appeared in her hand. Yvetta looked at her annoyed. "Ugh, go to hell, Lei..." She giggled. "You, too, Yve... Go to hell, too..." Everyone outside started looking at the limo in awe. The two girls hopped out of the limo and Leilani popped pink bubblegum in her mouth and started chewing it. The girls looked at them jealously. The boys looked at the girls and whistled. Yvetta and Leilani looked at each other. Yvetta rolled her eyes at Leilani. Leilani winked at Yvetta. Leilani whispered to Yvetta, "Come on, it may not be so bad..." Yvetta whispered back to Leilani, "Tsk, for you..." Leilani smiled evilly, "Exactly, and when people know your my little sister, they--" "I'm only younger by 10 months... I'm a Freshman, your a Junior..." "Like I was saying, they will like you, too..." Leilani began towards the school. Boys whistled at her as she walked by and their supposed, girlfriends, punched them. Leilani, making the girls more jealous and making the boys swoon over her, she winked at each of them. She noticed that a few of them started having a nose-bleed. Heh... These stupid boys think that they have a chance with me... She noticed a girl with midnight black hair, much like Yvetta's hair before she bleached it, pressed up against a wall from a girl with hot pink hair screaming at her. Hmm... I guess I'll go help her... That girl with Yvetta's old hair color... Let's fix this... And if this pink haired girl won't leave her alone, she's gonna start the school day with bruises and possible a broken bone... Heh... Leilani walked over to them. "Yo." The pink haired girl looked at Leilani. "What do you want, tramp?" Leilani put her hand on her hip. "Ok first, leave that girl alone. And second, I have a name, ya know." One of her friends, with black hair and dark blue eyes said, "Forget about her, Ivy. Let's just tell this stupid Junior to stay away from the boys!" I glared at the other girl and my eyes glowed red. "Just shut up, this isn't your fight." I saw her back up. My eyes turned back to light blue and giggled in satisfaction. I fixed my gaze back on he girl with pink hair. "So, Ivy, what's it gonna take for you to get away from her?" Yvetta walked over. "Who is this?" I looked over at her. "Oh, this is "Ivy" apparently..." Yvetta's gaze began to fix on the girl. "Ivy, if you so much as TOUCH her, you'll regret it..." She switched her gaze between Leilani and Yvetta. "What are your names anyways?!" I looked at her. Yvetta answered. "I'm Yvetta and this is my 10 month older sister, Leilani..." "Leilani and Yvetta, huh? I like your girls' style... Your feisty... Come see me if you wanna be popular on your first day... Also, I saw your limo... Nice... Byeeee!" Ivy waved at Leilani and Yvetta and walked backwards looking at them. "Yeah, no." Leilani and Yvetta both made an "L" with their hands and put it on their foreheads. "Loser!" They both glared at Ivy. She gasped. "Ugh, now your on my list, Leilani and Yvetta!" The girls looked at each other and rolled their eyes. "Ugh..." They both said in unison. They both looked at the girl with midnight black hair. "So, are you ok... What's your name?" The girl looked at the sisters. "U-Uhh yeah, I'm fine... And my name is Aphmau... What's your names?" "Oh my name is Leilani. I'm a Junior this year." "And I'm Yvetta. I'm a freshman. Leilani is my 10 month older sister. It's nice to meet ya!" She walked closer to Leilani and Yvetta. "I like your names. Their unique. And I'm a Junior this year too!" Leilani twirled a piece of her curly, bleach blonde, hair. "Thanks! Your name is unique too! And I may seem sarcastic most of the time, but this time, as rare as it seems, I'm being sincere." Her phone started ringing. "Oh sorry! Let me take this very quick! Stay right here!" She ran off and answered her phone. A few minutes later, she ran back and Leilani was sitting on a ledge while Yvetta leaned against the wall. "Ok, so, my friends are gonna be here soon. Would you guys like to be friends?" Yvetta rolled her eyes. Aphmau's smile turned to a frown. I quickly replied, "Don't worry, she does that to everyone. Plus, our parents just died recently, and since she's younger, she's a little on edge..." Aphmau gasped. "Oh my Irene... I'm so sorry! I know what it's like to lose a parent... When I was I little kid, my dad left... He didn't die but, still... It hurts..." A tear rolled down Leilani's cheek, and she looked down. "Hey Aphmau-- what's wrong?" Aphmau looked up, and replied, "Oh, h-hey G-Garroth! A-and it's nothing just, a sour subject..." Yvetta looked up and and Leilani looked over and the two sisters saw two boys, one with dirty blonde hair and aqua eyes, and another one with light brown hair and sky blue eyes. "Who are these ladies, Aphmau?" The one with sky blue eyes asked. Leilani felt an unsettling feeling coming from him. Hmm... All I can feel is... Shadow Knight... That boy... Must be one... Leilani turned away and thought for a moment. And I thought I escaped Shadow Knights... This is just great...
