i went with my mommy to the store today.

we saw a pack of gummy oranges.

its a fruit snack.

my daddy used to buy me gummy oranges.

when i picked them up, my mommy told me we were only getting things for dinner.

i told her it was daddy's favorite.

she took the gummy oranges out my hand and put it in the basket.

i was excited.

when we were driving home, my mommy turned off the car radio and patted my leg.

she said, "was it really your daddy's favorite?" and i nodded.

she smiled at me, then turned back to face the road.

im glad my mommy loves me enough to accept my decisions.
