"Don't think of it as treatment," Katelyn tells Aphmau, "Think of it as a class that teaches you how to be happy. Wait, never mind that's horrible analogy."

Aphmau doesn't look at Katelyn when she speaks, the window seems more interesting to her broken mind. "I don't want to go Katelyn," Aphmau's voice is quiet and soft.

"I know Aph., but we all know you need it," she sighs, "and your getting out of that empty house, I don't trust you to live by yourself."

"Garroth is making me move in with him and Laurance so he can watch me since he works from home."

"Fair enough."

Aphmau plays with the ring on her middle finger. It was his ring you know, and he only wore it for four days. Four short unforgettable days that will forever haunt Aphmau.

Well what do you expect, reader? Her to forget everything about him? To be completely fair it's only been two months, these things take time. But Aphmau doesn't have a lot of that..
Another thing, who has enough time anyway?

Eight hours later...

Aphmau opens the door to Garroth's car and steps in. "Hey Aph., how was class today?" Garroth asks when she shuts the car door. "Okay,"'she shrugs.
He smiles at her, and she struggles to smile back. "I love you," he whispers. "I-I love you too," she whispers back.

Garroth drives the car out of the building parking lot while Aphmau turns to the sunny, passenger window to hide her tears.

"I know you're hiding Aphmau," Garroth says, "why don't you tell me what's wrong?"

Aphmau swallows hard "You guys
shouldn't be paying for this..I-I feel like the center of attention when I shouldn't be."

"Oh babe, why do you think that?"
Garroth puts a hand on her leg.

"I heard how much this costs Garroth," she raises her voice and stiffens her body.

"Granted I know it's not cheap, but I-we.. don't want you to be sad for the rest of your damn life Aph." Garroth's voice is strict.

"I'm not sad," she folds her arms and leans back.

"You don't have to lie to me Aphmau,"

"I'm not lying!" She yells.

"Why are you yelling?!" He asks.

"I'm not yelling!"

"Yes you are!"

She begins to breakdown, "I never asked for this!"

"I know you didn't," His voice turns soft.

The car slows to a stop at a stop sign on an empty street. Garroth forces her hand into his, and cups her chin.

She looks into his soft eyes. "May I?" Garroth asks.

"You said to wait for him..." She reminds Garroth.

"One more time," He leans closer to her face.
