~Aphmau~
Was this wrong? Do the fates not believe in us? Or did I rush all of this? My life was perfect until yesterday. It should have been me...
It's always my fault...

~Garroth~
I wonder what she's thinking. She's so beautiful, even if her eyes are puffy from crying so much. I hope she knows it's not her fault...

~Laurance~
Damn, her poor heart. First a wedding then a funeral all in the same week... The car is silent.
Cars... heh.. I wonder who's next.

The small, old car slowly creeps up a steep hill. The engine puffs and wheezes like it's taking its lasts breaths of air.

Laurance looks into the rear-view mirror; Aphmau is leaning against a gloomy window with Garroth clutching her hand.

Then he turns his attention to the driver's window. The sky looks sad almost like Mother Nature is sorry for what happened.

"She's begging for mercy," the doctor told the boys in an unusually calm tone. "She knows he won't make it, but don't worry! You won't pay a dime." What Laurance would pay to strangle that doctor right there in that hallway. He would give up his own life if it meant her love would come back and make her smile again. "Anything,"
He repeats to himself, "anything."

Garroth wishes he could read minds. It would make starting a conversation slightly possible in this torturous car. The silence in the car is awkward to him. He learned that it's a part of the human nature to think silent is wrong.. Well that's sure damn right.
It's almost like there's a ghost in the car... Garroth thinks to himself.,
