"Delilah, what's wrong?" Louis asks, sitting down next to me on the grassy hill outside of the school.

"Nothing, all my friends have boyfriends and I don't. The person I like doesn't like me back."I complain, leaning on his shoulder.

"We can be loners together, I guess." He says

"What about Lyla?"I ask, referring to his girlfriend of two weeks, that I was insanely jealous of. I thought maybe that kiss at New Years meant something, but apparently it didn't.

"I broke up with her"He says, wrapping his arm around my shoulder

"Why?" I say hopefully

"There was someone else."He says

"Oh."I say quietly

He grins and says"Yea, she's beautiful and talented and so sweet."

"Who is it?"I ask

"Oh, just some silly fourteen year old."He says

"Oh cool,"I say, trying to sound like I dont care, but my words tremble on the way out.A tear slips down my face.

"Delilah, what's wrong."Louis says, noticing.

I get up.

"Louis, can't you see how much I like you? It kills me every time you talk about a girl that isn't and will never be me! I've liked you since I was 10!"I say,turning around.

To my surprise, I feel hands slip around my waist.

"Delilah Payne, I am completely in love with you."Louis says into my ear, making me jump.

"Wait, what? What about that girl?"I ask

"Your so naive! She's you!"He says

"Huh?"I gasp

"Will you go out with me?"He says

I'm so shocked I can just nod.

"3,2,1!"Everyone chants, then people are kissing each other.

I search the room for Louis to see who he's kissing, as he told me he would be kissing someone. When I asked who he said it was a surprise.

I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and someone's lips are pressed to mine.
