The Old Louis

Louis is surprised but then he relaxes. He puts his arms around me and pulls me on top of him. The kiss gets deeper and I tangle my fingers in his hair.

I have a guilt in my heart. It's just a kiss,right? I am doing this out of pity, not because I love him, right? Right?!

Other than that, this is amazing.

Ok, yeah, this isn't just pity.

I pull away with him looking at me with lust in his eyes.

"I'm sorry Louis, I can't." I whimper, holding my head in my hands.

He looks down, "I understand"

I realized then that the Louis I knew and loved years ago was sitting right in front of me.

And I was completely and utterly in love with him.

All night we laid there and talked. He is now just staring at me with a grin on his face.

"What?"I say

"Nothin" He laughs

"What are you laughing at"I smile

"Your just so gorgeous"He says

I cuddle up into his chest as he puts his arms around me.

"Lou?"I mumble

"Yea love?"

"I still love you"

The next morning

I wake up in Louis arms and look into his eyes.

"Your going home today, aren't you"He says

"Yea"I sigh

"Don't leave me again,Delilah"He begs

"I have to Lou. It would never work. Your a part of XCaliber. I can't go that route again." I say

"Please, I'll tell them your dead. You'll never have to worry. I need you Delilah, you keep me sane. I love you."He says

"I love you too, but I can't just leave Niall and Elaina!"I say

"They'll be completely protected, I promise" He says

"That's not the only reason."I whisper

"No. Delilah,please!"He begs

"I love him"I say

"He doesn't understand you like I do!!!"Louis yells," I can't handle life without you!"

How am I going to make him understand I can't stay.

I have an idea, but I'll have to be completely heartless.

"I don't need you..." I say

I leave him, sobbing my name on the porch.

A solitary tear slips down my face
