Home was a place everyone wished for comfort and love. I know mine is but there are certain situations that make me want to leave home. Someone once told me that,
"If something went wrong, what could you have done on your part to make it better."
I did reflect, I changed my ways.
If anyone one of you who feels like you want to leave home for small or big issues you have at home, DO NOT.
With time, you will regret it. It's either sooner or later you realise you could have done something to prevent it.
If it's abuse, there are multiple hotlines for you to call for help to fix relationships.
If it's anger, there are many guidance counsellors to help you.
If it's depression, there are countless psychologists out there to get you out of it.
All in all, you have friends too. Don't always think your friends can't help you, yes they can't shelter you because they are not the breadwinners in their home.
However, the advice they give you are worthwhile listening to. I know my close friends have stood by me when I was done, talked me out of suicide, hugged me when I just needed one, consoled me after breakups.
Treasure what you have & fix relationships while you still can. In a blink of an eye, it can be all gone.
