Reunited

Chapter 5

Charlotte's POV
"We're back!" Anya yelled from the front door.
"You'll love Sebby, he's the sweetest little kid ever, I mean, he's a boy, so he can be annoying, but he's lovely." Margot muttered. I nodded my head.
"It's alright, I know he's 9 but I lived with two boys who acted like they were 5 half the time." I said.
"Aunty Margot!" Sebby ran into the room and went straight to Margot and hugged her tightly.

After saying his hellos to Mum, Margot, Lockie and Cameron, Anya made him stand in front of me.
"This is your Aunty Charlotte."
"Why have I never met her?" He asked. Oh my gosh, he had the cutest Australian accent ever!
"Because she's been away on a very long holiday." Mum interjected.
"Oh. I've got one question for you." He raised his eyebrows.
"What's that?" I asked.
"Are you will to play Nerf Battles. Fight to the death!"
"Oh my gosh, I've always wanted a Nerf gun, so yes! I will play any games you want too."
"I like her!" He grinned turning to Anya. Sebby then gave me a hug and I hugged him back.
"Right, go and get changed everyone and we will all meet at the Marine in and hour." Mum said.
I raced Margot up the stairs, while the others went to their homes.

I went to my room and chose my outfit; a pink floral shirt romper, white kimono and white chunky heels.
I was told that it's actually summer here, which explains the heat.
I put on a gold necklace of a palm tree and small bow ring. I brushed my hair and left it down, then did my makeup.

I went through to Margot's room.
"Hey Maggot." I smiled.
"Oh my god." She sighed. Her back was still turned to me. "Thanks Char."
"No problem." I replied.
"You look cute though..." Margot grinned turning around to face me.
"So do you!"
"My beautiful baby sister!"
"My beautiful big sister!" I hugged her tightly.
"I love you munchkin!" She kissed my cheek and we went downstairs.
"My gorgeous little girls!" Mum beamed.
"Our gorgeous Mum!" Margot and I said hugging Mum at the same time.

"Yo, shit!" I yelled grabbing Margot's arm. Mum and Margot stopped in their tracks.
"What?" They both turned around.
"Look at that alligator!" I pointed out. It was lying on the rocks down at the beach.
"You're so cute. Get used to all the animals honey." Mum said with a small chuckle.
"But this is so cool!" I grinned jumping up and down.
"I've never seen anyone get so excited over seeing a crocodile or alligator." Margot laughed.
"Look, the only vicious things in Glasgow are the junkies." I said with a straight face.
"You're not kidding are you?" Margot asked with a small chuckle in her voice. I shook my head.
"Come on you two!" Mum yelled from the door to the restaurant.
We ran to catch up with her, although we were both in heels, which we both hate.

Anya and Sebby were already sitting down, looking through the menus.
"Hey Charlie!" Anya smiled.
"Hi!" I replied. I sat down next to Margot. We waited for the boys to arrived. Lockie sat on the other side of me.

When dinner was over, we all took a stroll along the beach. It was hot and humid. I don't mind the heat, it's the humidity that I don't like.

"So, what do you want to be when you grow up?" Maggot asked as we walked side by side.
"I want to be a film producer, director and script writer." I answered.
"That's cool! Hey, if you want, I can take you to America or wherever I'm filming next, and you can learn all about how the film industry works!"
"You would do that?!" I raised my brows.
"Of course I would! Anything for my baby sister!"
"You're the best!" I hugged her waist tightly, and she wrapped her arms around me.
"Girls!" Mum called out. We snapped our heads around to where she, my brothers, nephew and sister stood. "Lockie's giving me a lift home. Margot do you have the car keys?!"
"Yeah! We'll come home in a few!" She yelled back.
"Cool! Be safe!" Mum said and walked away.

Margot and I stayed at the beach for a bit longer. I started taking photos of the sunset, the water, the sand and the wildlife. It was perfect. I love Australia.
