*1 Day Later*
Charlotte's POV
It took a while, but we finally landed in Australia. The heat was the first thing to hit me, then the jet lag set in.
"Welcome to Queensland." Mum smiled taking my hand. "Luckily there is no paparazzi at the moment, but if we go out with Margot, there will be." She said.
"Cool! How long till we get home?"
"Just over 3 hours. I'm sorry."
"It's okay!"
It was only 7am Australian time.
-
The ride home was pretty cool. I saw I couple of alligators and a load of snakes and pretty much all the animals you don't get in Scotland...
The ride passed quicker than I thought it would.
I was now standing outside the childhood home of Margot Robbie.
It was medium sized, and looked cozy.
Mum told me to wait outside while she went in.
"In you come." She held the door open.
In front of me stood Anya, Lachlan, Margot and Cameron.
They were grinning from ear to ear.
"Hi." I smiled. I felt so awkward standing in front of my idol, now sister. I was grinning like a goofy person.
Anya was the first to give me a hug. Her brown hair fell in front of my face, and it smelt like coconuts.
Of course she was taller than me, so she had to bend down slighlty.
"I can't believe you're home." She said. I could tell she was smiling.
I saw the other three over Anya's shoulder, waiting to give me a hug. When she let me go, Lachlan came over to me.
I stuck my hand out for him to shake it.
"Oh come on, you can do better than that." He took me into a tight hug.
I then hugged Cameron and then I stood in front of Margot.
She was just as beautiful as she looked on TV.
Margot took me into a hug. She held me close. Her blonde hair tickled my neck and it smelt amazing. It smelt of apples. Her perfume was sweet and smelt of peaches.
"Charlotte, I've been waiting for this day since you were born." Even the way she says my name is perfect!
She let me go and held my hands.
"I need to tell you something." I said.
"Sure."
"I'm a huge fan of yours, like the biggest fan ever. You saved my life on more than one occasion." I said.
"Oh honey. I love you so much."
"I love you too." I replied hugging her again.
"Come on!" She started dragging me up the stairs and towards the bedrooms.
"Where you taking me?" I giggled.
"To your room!"
I was led into a bedroom that was decorated with light blue paint. A double bed was sticking out in the middle of the room, from against the wall.
The wall had photos of my family on it.
It had a view of the back garden. There was palm trees in the back with a swimming pool and a large trampoline.
"I wanna take you out or something." She said sitting on the bed and flopping back.
"Where too?"
"Not really sure. But I want to get to know you better. Tell me some things about you."
"Uh, okay. I love DC and Marvel. I have comic books, mostly Harley Quinn and Joker, but not because of Suicide Squad, because I've loved them for years!" I said making her laugh.
"What did you mean when you said I saved your life?" Margot asked.
"Well, I always felt different from my adopted family, like I felt like I wasn't apart of them."
"Did they treat you differently?" She asked becoming concerned.
"No, no, no. They treated me like I was their child. We were all treated amazingly, they were so amazing. You kept me grounded though. You were my sanity, when I felt like shit. Sometimes things got bad, through no fault of my family, and I did feel like my only way out was suicide, but you saved me. I always felt you were with me in spirit, taking the blade or pills away from me."
I looked up at Margot who was crying.
"I don't want you to ever, and I mean ever, feel like suicide is the only option. You have to call me or message me either through a text or Snapchat. Just do it. If you phone me, and I'm halfway across the world, I will pay for the calls. I don't care. You will talk to me. Promise."
"Promise." I replied. We hugged each other tightly.
"I hate to break the sisterly love, but mum's had to go out and get some food for lunch. We're all heading out into the backyard. Want to come?" Cameron asked from the doorway.
"Yeah!" I smiled. "Come on!" I grabbed Margot's hand and pulled her off the bed.
Cameron and I were on the trampoline, Margot, Anya and Lockie were standing in front of us, watching us.
"What nickname should we give you?" Anya asked. "Lachlan's Lockie, Margot is Maggot what should we call you?"
"I get called Char. Or Charlie. I don't mind." I replied bouncing about.
"Hey guys, I don't want to alarm you, but there's a snake on the trampoline..." Margot said, looking behind us.
"Nope!" I yelled jumping off. Lockie caught me as I was headed in his direction.
"Shit dude. What was that?!"
"I don't do snakes. Like small ones are okay, but that, is a no go."
"Oh you're going to die here..." Cameron laughed.
My sisters were laughing too.
"That's not funny!" I said. "I fucking hate snakes. I love lizards and alligators and crocodiles but I don't do snakes or spiders."
"Awe it's okay. We still love you." Anya said through a laugh, putting her arms around me.
"I'm back!" Mum yelled a few minutes later, from the kitchen.
We all ran into the house and had the sandwiches Mum had made us.
"So, what were you guys doing?" Mum asked taking a bite out of her food.
"There was a snake..." I said with wide eyes. My siblings just laughed.
"Oh god, what happened?"
"She jumped off the trampoline and landed on Lockie because of the snake." Anya laughed.
"You alright?"
"Yeah, I'm good..." I trailed off, finished my lunch.
"So, tonight's plan is, Anya you've got to pick Sebby up from school, and I've booked us into The Marine for dinner tonight."
"Yay!" Margot smiled.
"What time is it?" Anya asked.
"Just after one." Mum told her looking at her watch.
"Okay, I've got a couple hours."
