*this was set in 2016... however, I'm over Christmas chapters so it's now 2017*
Margot's POV
"Please, I really need to go home." I said becoming very angry. The director of my new film held his head in his right hand.
"Margot, we are already behind schedule on filming."
"You don't understand! It's my little sister's birthday and I haven't spent any of her birthdays with her. Please! I can be back tomorrow, it's only a two hour plane ride."
He took a deep breath and sighed. "Fine. But you have until 1pm tomorrow to be back."
"Thank you!" I ran away into my trailer, changed my clothes and ran out to my car.I'm surprised I didn't get stopped on my way to the airport, due to my speed, but I made it there in enough time.
I managed to get the last ticket back to Dalby.

Sarie's POV
"Do you know if Margot will be here?" Char asked with hope in her eyes.
"I don't know, baby. She's filming at the moment, but I hope she'll be here for tonight." I said kissing her forehead.
"Cheer up sweetie, it's your birthday! And I've got a few presents for you." I said taking her hand.
I lead her through back up to her bedroom.
She always kept her side and Margot's side clean and occasionally changed the bedding on Margot's bed, just in case she came home. Margot and Charlotte have such a strong bond. They had their room done up, but Margot pair for it.
The walls were now beige and white, they had long white curtains that dropped onto the floor, and matching furniture that was in cream and black.
Above Charlotte's bed hung a string on lightbulbs that constantly stayed on, and just below that was a long string of twine, and photos had been pegged on it. Margot's side was similar. There were plant pots on the window sill and on Char's nightstand, they had cacti in them.
Now, a line of presents, sat at the end of her bed."Wow mum, are these all from you?" She gasped looking up at me.
I nodded my head.
"I'm sorry there's not more."
"Not more? Mum this is more than enough!" She smiled.
"No, it's not. I can't ever make up for the fact you've been away from me for so long, and I don't have much money. That sounds terrible, but I didn't ask Margot for any money. I bought what I could."
"I love you." She hugged me tightly, wrapping her arms around my waist.
I placed my hand on her head and cried quietly.
She left my side and went to open the gifts.
I wiped my tears as I watched her."Mum, this is beautiful!" She gasped, opening the lid to a necklace box.
It was a silver heart that said '17/01/16', the day we met.
She put it on instantly.
The next present was a scrapbook of her and her family, I had made over the years for her return.
It was a light purple with blue trim on the bottom.
It read 'Charlotte's Book" in pink foam writing.
"Mum, this is beautiful!" She smiled softly while holding the book.
"I've filled some of it up with the photos I'd been sent from your adoptive parents.
She opened up to the first page.
The first thing was a photo of myself and Charlotte.
Under it, it read 'Charlotte Elle Robbie ~ this is the day I was born.'
Under the writing was her hospital bracelet and the beanie hat that she wore in hospital. The page next to it had photos of her with her siblings. A photo each.
They went in age order.
Anya was holding her and smiling into the camera. Charlotte was bundled into a pink blanket, although it was summer.
Lockie was holding her and looking down at her, while she stretched her small arm into the air.
Margot lay on my hospital bed and Charlotte lay down beside her, looking into Margot's eyes. Margot smiled while Char had her hand wrapped around Margot's index finger. Margot's blonde hair fell around her shoulders. I'd never seen her smile so much.
Cameron was holding his baby sister, while kissing her forehead. All my kids had these scrapbooks, and they all had their individual photos with Charlotte in them.
The book wasn't filled. There was still space for the next few years.
