I lay in bed for what seemed like most of Saturday on my phone; Adam, Christian and I were in a three way chat which was just going downhill from the moment they started talking about the so-called secret spy group of girls, aka the BubbleBrains as Chris likes to call them. It's obvious he has a thing for Abbie, which came to a shock to me cause the jocks and them seemed to be in some kind of competition for popularity or something.
My dad called me from downstairs; I stuffed my phone in my jean pocket and sprang down the stairs into the kitchen where he stood; my sister sat on a sofa surrounded my pillows and blankets as she watched Spongebob, she's fourteen.... really?
"Hey there." Mu dad said, "Haven't heard from you in a while, sport."
"Umm yeah, I've been busy."
My phone vibrated in my pocket and chimed, indicating that another message had come through. My dad looked at me with a raised eyebrow; "Busy, huh?"
"Well... yeah. The school's summer camp week starts tomorrow and I don't know what to take on it so..." I tried to think of something that sounded believable; "I'm asking my friends."
"Uh-huh..." my father looked at me sceptically before nodding in defeat, "Well then you better get your ass back up there and get your stuff sorted out for Monday."
"Yup..." I slowly walked backwards to the staircase, once my heel touched it I turned and ran up to my bedroom. Chris and Adam had sent at least ten more messages, half of them in capital letters 'calling' for me like I'd been missing for a week. When I finally answered I told them I was going to finish the homwork I had and pack, I'd get enough time with the guys the whole of next week, lets not over do it.
I packed a bunch of random clothes and a few extra; who knows what we'd be up to there? My suitcase filled pretty quickly and when I was done I decided to take a shower, even though it was just past midday.
Sunday passed quickly, I guess cause I slept for literally the whole day, the rest of the time I was eating or messaging people.
Monday came and I was up like five minutes before I had to leave....crappp! I ran around my room gathering and getting myself presentable; I threw some clothes on and brushed my teeth, did my hair and ran downstairs.
"I hope you packed clean underwea-!" I ran out the house before my mom could finished her embarassing statement. I revved the engine to my car and drove to school, probably going waay passed the speed limit. Three large busses were parked in the front of the school, students were piling in, getting registered as they boarded the bus by teachers. I took a place in the line and a man from the side took my suitcase and placed in the luggage compartment on the bottom of the bus. The teacher, who I didnt recognise registered me and let me onto the bus, rows of seats lined the inside of the vehicle and at the back were the jocks, my group. Chris, the more confident one called to me, "Yo, Will!" he shouted, raising his hand and waving it in the air frantically; I smirked at his excitement and made my way to the back of the bus. The seats of three on both sides of the isle were free but Chris and one of the other jocks, James, pulled me between them on the right side near a window.
I dumped my backpack on the ground next to me and brought out my iPod and headphones, plugging the headphones in I put them on and put on Linkin Park. Honestly it was nice to just be calm for a second after having such a hectic morning... After just minutes I found myself falling asleep.
"Dude thats just not natural." a voice said next to me, it sounded like Christian; I was slumped over my knees with my arms drooping off and my hands touching the ground; "Oww." I groaned, my back ached... no surprise there.
