Julie Randall hated everything about moving. She hated meeting new people, living in a new environment, and she especially hated going to a new school. Especially when it had to happen in the middle of the school year. She had to move to a new house in the middle of October after school had started in August because of her dad's job location changing again. Her parents figured that the move could be a new opportunity for her to actually create friendships. She was still a nerd, and she already knew that she was going to be just as lonely and pathetic as she was at her old schools. Only a small part of her was hoping that this school would be different from the last three she was enrolled in, but she knew it wasn't going to be. She knew she was going to be bullied just like she knew she was going to sit alone and talk to no one. She was going to focus on the things that were really important: school work, grades, college, and her future.
She never knew why so many people disliked her, but she stopped caring when she left them all behind. She used to try to reach out to people, but she always ended up putting herself through more pain than if she didn't have anyone.
She was as nerd. She was always labeled as a nerd, and she thought that label would never go away. She, however, didn't know nearly as much about the world than she thought she did. She didn't know Ally Greenwood, and She didn't know the power of a makeover.

Author's Note
Thank you for reading the prologue of Un-nerd! I haven't decided how I am going to start updating my different books, and I haven't decided if I am going to be able to write them all at the same time or not. Comments about your opinions are appreciated greatly! Thank you :)
