We walked into lunch that day and I noticed that the cafeteria was extremely loud. People at our school were always loud but it was ridiculous that day. I looked around and noticed that they looked angry and were yelling at someone.
" Who are they yelling at?" I asked Anna.
" Mrs.Lopin, " she said, " They think she turned the school Internet off. Mrs.Lopin was the schools computer engineer. She also ran the internet system.
"All right, shut up!" Mrs. Kewen yelled. The room fell silent as the principal got onto the school lunch table to make a speech.
" This 'oughta be good," Anna whispered with a smirk.
" Now all of you listen up. I have been informed that the Internet is down and-"
"Naw dip sherlock!" Interupted a injured Dylan.
" Detetion for you Mr.Bila! Anyways, The internet company called and said that their whole service was down." As she said this an overwhelming amount of sighs filled the room
"Now I would appreciate you all to leave Mrs.Lopin alone. She can do nothing about the internet. Maybe while the web is down you could all read a book or two." You could feel kids all around rolling their eyes. After that lunch went back to normal, minus the snapchat and other social media.
" Hey guys, mind if I join you?" I turned around and saw a smiling James looking at us.
" Sure, what's up?" I said with a quivering voice. I say quivering because I may have planned out our entire future the night before. He noticed and chuckled softly as he sat down beside me.
" Not much," said Timothy," So how's your first day Issac High?"
" Great now that I'm with a particularly cute couple of girls and one cool man." He replied smirking.
" Aw, I thought you were talking about us for a minute, but you said a cool man. None of the three of us is a cool man." Anna replied with a puppy dog face that would make anyone feel bad for her. Well everyone except Timothy who found nothing about the situation at all funny.
"Ha ha, I happen to be a very cool man." Timothy lashed out defensively. This just made all of us laugh harder.
" Man, huh? Have you ever played a sport?" Asked James with a knowing smirk.
" As a matter of fact I have." He said with triumphant look on his face.
"Oh yeah, what sport?" Asked James.
"Yeah, I've known you forever and have never heard of this so called sport." I said very matter of factly.
" It's considered a sport," He wavered before saying, " I play quidditch, okay!"
We all bursted out laughing. Timothy, who did not find it very funny, got up and started to storm off.
"We were just kidding man!" James said as he wiped tears from his eyes. Timothy glared at the table of us and proceeded to leave the cafeteria.
" We should probably go and console his sweet little heart." Anna said. We all got up to go and find him. It took awhile but we finally found him sitting in a nook in the library.
James saw first and fell to the ground laughing. Anna and I followed in close suit when we saw what he was reading to feel better about himself. It was a book entitled Quittidtch Through the Ages.
