Chapter 2

Days passed. As Zane prepared for Donna’s Wedding. He set it up on the docks, a beautiful white altar with a quartz roof. They was a long red carpet leading to the Altar with brown wooden chairs in rows sounding it. Off the the left there was a Boat, Also white so Donna a logan could sale off to their Honeymoon.

He was finishing some of the final touches, lanterns, fairy lights and Just cleaning up. He suddenly heard yelling coming from his house up the hill, He dropped everything and sprinted up the Stairs to his house.

“Respect the High Priestess Aphmau! Or we will destroy you.” Katelyn the Fire Fist said angrily

Garroth the Protector was holding his diamond sword up to Alexis’s neck as The High Priestess Aphmau was giving Alexis a disapproving look.

“Woah! Calm down. I’m sure what Alexis did wasn't that bad.” Zane said going in the middle of the group.

“He said that you didn't trust us. That we should leave.” Garroth the Protector said
“Well they shou-”Alexis was suddenly silences as Garroth the Protector put his sword deep in his skin, just barely scratching the skin.

“Please. Calm down I am sure that we will be able to reach an agreement.”  Zane said carefully
“Yes. I am SURE we can. As long as you don't wear your mask to the wedding.

“WHAT” Alexis, Time, and Zane yelled at the same time

“I sure you heard me correctly, Don’t wear your mask. It's not formal.” High Priestess Aphmau said

“But...I've always worn my mask even to formal events! But won't Garroth and Katelyn have to take off their Helms! Zane said nervously

A silence fell over them as Zane wondered what was going on. There was footsteps coming up the stairs  and a Voice said as it put a sword tip up against his back

“What did you just call them?” Laurence whispered harshly close to killing Zane

“Garroth the Protector and Katelyn the Fire Fist.” Zane whispered scared for his life.

“Good. Now remember.” Laurence whispered harshly

The silence fell as Zane said
“Yes. I won't wear my mask. As long as GARROTH the Protector and KATELYN the Fire Fist Don’t wear they're helms. It will attract thieves.” Zane said carefully.

“Deal. See you at the Wedding. Toddles.” The High Priestess Aphmau said taking a step back with Garroth and Katelyn at her side.

     As they walked away Alexis fell to the ground muttering to herself
“Stupid High Priestess, Stupid people don’t belong in power. “

“Are you ok, Alexis?” Time asked still freaked out

“Yeah fine. Just scratched” Alexis said touching the scratch on his  neck wear Garroth sword was.

“Good. We have a wedding to prepare for.” Zane said not believing that his life could've been taken away.

“Wait. Are you ok! Laurence nearly killed you!” Time said.

“I'm fine.” Zane said.

He was pacing inside his house as he wondered what to do with the High Priestess and her guards. He couldn't get rid of them until they left on their own accord. He had to trust them to leave without hurting anybody. It was bad enough that Alexis and Time were Shadow knights. His life was always in danger around them.

Shadow Knights where a group of evil people who died and came back to life in the Nether, a hellish dimension. Shadow Knights worshiped the Shadow Lord, or Shadow Lady since she was a girl. But in order for the Shadow Knights to reach their full potential, they have to kill someone they love or their Lord. But he knew Time and Alexis were trustworthy. Well at least Time.

Alexis hasn't killed someone he loves, or his lord.
Zane shuddered at the thought. His own guard might kill him.

A Knock came from the door as Zane went to answer it someone barged in.
“What the HECK is going on, is it The High Priestess” Zane said hoping to tear her and her guards apart.

“No…….Its Laurence.” Dale said out of breath

“YES...Oh, I mean what is he doing?” Zane said

“He’s a Shadow Knight!” Dale said

“Really, oh, this is going to be fun. Time to get rid of Laurence. Shall we?” Zane said carefully.

“Careful.” Dale said.

“I will be. Don’t worry.” Zane said while walking down to the Plaza to finally get rid of them.

“STOP. Stop right there LORD Zane.” Garroth the Protector said running towards Zane

“NOPE. My village is in danger. I must protect them” Zane said sliding past Garroth.

Garroth put a sword up to Zane's neck as he said again
“Stop.”

“Fine. What do you want.” Zane said carefully

“For Time to come to Phoenix Drop.” Garroth the Protector said with authority

“Why should she! SHe’s my head guard!” Zane said nervously

“So we won’t, let's say Taint, Baby Alexis. Yes Taint.” Garroth the Protector said harshly

“You wouldn't dare. She's only a few weeks old. What do you mean by Taint?” Zane said carefully

“We would dare. Ask your Shadow Knights Guards  about the Taint thing.” Garroth the Protector said harshly

“How do you know about that!” Zane said surprised

“Oh. We just know. Also we know about Alexis, corrupting her would be SO easy.” Garroth the Protector said harshly

“Crap…..What do you need her for.” Zane said nervously

“I also need you to stand trial for your crimes.” Garroth the Protector said

“WHAT I DO.” Zane yelled

“Yeah. What did he do.” Time said suddenly with her sword out

“He trying to keep Phoenix Drop from getting their proper Lord. He has kidnapped him, or is hiding him from us. I wonder why she wears a mask………..” Garroth the Protector said while smirking

“I would never do that! Why! And what prove do you have!” Zane said
“We don’t need prove. We just need power.” Katelyn the Fire Fist said putting a sword up too Time's neck

“You….Your MONSTERS. Just like someone from Phoenix Drop!” Zane screamed

“Now…..Be quite. Imagine if the Village heard you, calling us monsters. Why would The High Priestess of the Lord Isaac’s faith be a monster? Hmmm? Think of little Alexis.” High Priestess Aphmau said harshly.

“You monsters. Get the heck out of Okasis.” Zane whispered

“We will. But what will Donna and Logan think? Hmmm?
High Priestess Aphmau

“Fine. Once you marry them get out.” Zane whispered carefully 

“Deal. I guess we have to do Plan Shadow Lord before the wedding.” Aphmau said turning to her guards.

“Fine” Garroth, Katelyn said together.

“Tell Laurence.” Aphmau said

“We will m’lady” Garroth and Katelyn said together.

Zane breathed out heavy  and then screamed not caring anymore. “GET OUTTA MY VILLAGE. BEFORE I KILL ALL OF YOU.”

High Priestess Aphmau took a flint and steel and lit the house next to her on fire. Zane ran and quickly put it out while saying

“WHAT WAS THAT FOR!!!!”

“It's a warning. LORD Zane” Aphmau said snarling
She walked off as Zane sat there putting the fire out.
