Chapter-Three

Justin's POV
I decided that I wasn't going to wait a year to ask my girlfriend to marry me so today is the day that I'm going to ask my girlfriend to marry me we're still looking at houses trying to find the right one so far there isn't one that we like. Mom is still in beverly hills until we find a house for the four of us. Tyler & I went ring shopping a week ago to find my girl the perfect ring & we did it's so perfect for my beautiful girlfriend she's gonna love it I fell in love with it the moment I saw it as did tyler. Tonight we're all going out to dinner & that's when I'm going to pop the question to my girlfriend & mother of my daughter. But anyway I'm at tyler & mitzi's house waiting on my girlfriend to get home from work while I'm waiting avalanna & I are playing out in the backyard on the swings she's having some daddy & daughter time with me & she's loving it. Ava: dadda swid wiff me pweez! Jay: okay princess I'll slide down the slide with you! Hold on to the ladder & take a step one at a time okay daddy's right behind you holding on to you so you won't fall okay! Ava: me scared dadda! Jay: wanna do something else sweetheart? Ava: shakes head yes! Jay: okay princess let daddy help you get down okay & we can go inside to get a drink & snack! I helped her down & carried her inside to the kitchen to get a drink & a snack I got her sippy cup & put juice in it then got her a snack. Jay: okay princess let's get you in your high chair & you can eat your snack & drink your juice sweetheart? Ava: ohtay dadda! I leaned down to kiss her forehead & whispered to my little girl. Jay: daddy loves you baby girl! Ava: me woov voov to dadda! Jay: daddy needs to teach you to say daddy instead of dadda you're getting so big princess! I told my listening little two year old little girl. Ava: daddy! I couldn't believe what I just heard I was so excited. Jay: did you just say daddy sweetheart? I asked my smiling girl looking up at me. Ava: daddy! Jay: that's my big girl you said daddy like a big girl! I said picking her up again going in circles making her laugh really hard down to her stomach while making me laugh also with her. Jay: now daddy has to teach you to say mommy instead of momma I told my little princess holding her in my arms. Ava: gink daddy pweez! Jay: of course sweetheart daddy will get you your drink! I told her getting her sippy cup from the cabinet then went to the refrigerator to get some juice for my big girl. Then went to the snack cabinet to get some crackers then got a small paper plate to put them on. Jay: okay sweetheart let's get you in your high chair! I picked her up in my arms & carried her to her high chair sitting her down in it then put the tray on it then went to get her drink & snack for her. I walked over to her placing them down on her tray while kissing her on the forehead & whispered. Jay: I love my big girl! She then looked up at me poking her lips out wanting me to kiss them so I did & that made her smile so big. Jay: daddy will be right back okay princess daddy needs to get his laptop from mommy's room okay? I'll be right back! Ava: ohtay daddy! Jay: that's my big girl I said then went to cody's bedroom to get my laptop then went back to my amazing little girl while she was eating her snack & drinking her juice I thought I'd go online & try to look at more houses after an hour I was getting frustrated because I couldn't find what we wanted in a house. Tyler: can't find anything? I looked up & tyler was coming home from work. Jay: I've been at this for an hour & I can't find a house that we're looking for it's like nobody wants to sell their house! Tyler: you'll find the perfect house it just takes time bud! Jay: I was hoping that we'd find a house sooner before I asked her to marry me but I guess finding a house is going to have to wait because I'm going to ask her tonight! Tyler: I didn't forget about the dinner! Jay: my grandpa called me today! I told tyler. Tyler: & what did he have to say? Jay: he wants to meet avalanna & wants to see cody! I'm scared to even mention this to her because of what happened two years ago with my grandma I just don't want it to happen again & bring avalanna into the huge mess because I don't want her to get hurt. Cody: there is no way that we're going to canada if he wants to meet her & see me he can come out here & visit I'm not taking another chance at me getting hurt or avalanna getting hurt either! We turned around & saw cody walking in from work also & she didn't look too happy about having my grandpa meeting avalanna I don't blame her I don't want avalanna to get hurt either. Cody: If he comes out here you're telling him to come alone not with diane! She said & left to get changed out of her work suit I looked at tyler & asked. Jay: how am I going to get my grandpa out here without my grandma? Because I know for a fact that once he finds out that we're inviting him & him only my grandma will find out & find her way out here & get cody all upset & angry at me because I just told my grandpa that he can only come out here to visit & leave grandma at home. Tyler: we'll work something out bud! Jay: I hope so! I'm going to check on cody! Can you watch avalanna while I do that? Tyler: sure can! Jay: thanks tyler! I replied getting up from my seat & going to cody's bedroom that we're sharing for now until we find a house. I walked to her door slowly opening it looking in finding my girl sitting on her bed staring down at her folded hands that were in her lap. I slowly walked over to her & sat next to her taking her hand in mine & asked. Jay: what's wrong babe did something happen at work? Cody: remember when I told you that my boss was going to open another building in the next town over & she wanted me to be in charge of it being the head boss of it? Jay: yeah! You didn't get it did you babe? Cody: she gave it to someone else! Jay: babe didn't you not want it because of it being so far away & when you get home you wouldn't be able to see avalanna when she goes to bed? Cody: yes! Jay: then how come you're upset about it sweetheart? Cody: I got fired! When she said she got fired I knew I needed to find out how & why she got fired. Jay: why'd you get fired babe? Cody: remember when I told your grandma that half of the people in the office hate me because my boss treats me well with good treatment & the others don't get the good treatment but the bad treatment? Jay: yeah! Cody: one of the co workers that get the bad treatment told my boss that I was doing a bad job & she asked me to come to her office so I did & when I got there she said that someone came to her & told her that I was talking trash about her behind her back & it wasn't true at all she got angry at me & said that I was fired & told me to get my things I did & came home maybe I'll be a stay at home mom & just take care of avalanna! Jay: what about being a dance teacher babe? Cody: that takes to much time & besides I won't be with avalanna I wanna be able to spend time with her. Jay: I know babe it was just an idea! Cody: I love you babe! Jay: I love you more sweetheart! I replied kissing my sad girlfriend & said. Jay: I was thinking of all of us going out to dinner tonight with your parents! Cody: let's stay home tonight please I don't feel like going out! Jay: okay sweetheart I'll make you the best dinner ever! Cody: I can't wait! Jay: I'll be right back sweetheart I need to talk to your dad for a second! Cody: okay while you're doing that I'm going to get changed! Jay: okay babe! I replied & got up from her bed & walked out of her room to the family room where tyler took avalanna to play & to watch tv. Once I walked into the family room my little one ran over with her arms up wanting me to pick her up. Ava: daddy up! up! Jay: alright princess come here! I said picking up my sweetheart of a two year old princess then walked over to tyler & sat down on the couch with him with Avalanna on my lap. Jay: cody got fired from her job today that's the reason why she was upset when she came home! Tyler: she's had that job since she graduated from high school! Jay: that's what she told me! I think I'm just going to ask her tonight she's not wanting to go out to dinner anyway. Tyler: that's a better idea! Jay: I told her that I'd make her a special dinner tonight so I'm going food shopping to get what I need for dinner! Mind watching avalanna for me while I go do that? Tyler: sure! Jay: thanks tyler I'll be back in a little while! I said & got cody's keys then left to get what I need to make dinner for my soon to be fiancé. I left & two hours later I got home with what I needed I took everything in the house & into the kitchen unpacked everything & started cooking the special dinner for my girl. Ava: daddy! Jay: yes princess? Ava: up! up! Jay: daddy can't hold you right now sweetheart I have to make dinner for mommy! How about I put you in your highchair & you can watch daddy cook dinner for mommy? Let daddy get your highchair & put you in it & you can have a snack & some juice. Ava: gink daddy. I went to the dining-room to get her highchair. Jay: okay princess here you go! I said picking her up & sitting her in her highchair buckling her in & putting on her tray then going to the cabinet to get her sippy cup & putting juice in it then got her a snack handing them both to her & she was going at it like crazy. Now that's done so i got started cooking this special dinner for my girl. I let it cook so I thought I'd go set the table for the five of us even though avalanna will be eating in her high-chair once the table was set I went back to the kitchen to check on the food after another hour the food was done so I got serving dishes & put the food in them then took them to the table once everything was on the table I went to get tyler & mitzi. Jay: dinners ready! Tyler: okay thanks! They went to the table so I thought I'd go see my girl & tell her dinner was ready I slowly opened her door looking in finding my girl laying in bed with her blanket over her I walked over to her bed sitting on the edge & leaned down to kiss my girl's forehead then whispered. Jay: babe dinner's ready! Cody: okay babe! she whispered then got up from the bed & the both of us left to go out to the dining room to tyler, mitzi & avalanna that was waiting for us. Ava: momma sit pweez. Cody: okay sweetheart mommy will sit with you! We sat down & tyler said grace & we started eating the dinner that I made for everyone. Mitzi: justin this is delicious? Jay: thank you it's my grandma's recipe my mom's not much of a cook or a baker! I've learned a lot from my grandma! After an hour of eating & talking I got everyone's plates & took them to the kitchen to do the dishes then got dessert for everyone. Jay: anyone want some ice cream? Ava: me daddy! Tyler: I'll pass I'm pretty full from that delicious dinner! Mitzi: me too! Cody: I don't think I could eat anymore that was so good babe! Jay: let me just get avalanna some ice cream! I went to the kitchen to get my princess some ice cream then went back to the dining room to give my little one her ice cream then I'm gonna do what my plan was tonight at dinner at the restaurant. Jay: here you go princess! I said handing my little girl her ice cream & kissing her forehead & whispered. Jay: daddy loves you princess! Ava: me woov u to daddy. Jay: I have something for you babe! I said walking over to her taking both of her hands in mine looking into her beautiful eyes I grown to love I took a deep breath & said what I want to say to the woman I love. Jay: I've been waiting to do this for a long time & tonight is the night that's going to change both our lives! Cody: what do you mean babe? Jay: I want to be able to call you my wife! I want to have another baby with you but while we're married! I wanna be able to come home from a long tour to my beautiful wife & daughter & be able to spend time with both my girls & tell you how my tour went! I want to be able to take the both of you on tour with me i want to show my girls off to my beliebers! I want to tell the world about us & me being a father I've kept the both of you a secret ever since you found out you were pregnant & then you walking out on me with our unborn baby! Nobody knew about me getting a girl pregnant the only thing they knew was that I was dating again after years of not dating they didn't know I was dating you! Babe I want you to have your dream wedding & dream honeymoon I want to take you to places that you've never been! If we can't find a house that we love we can build one the way you want it with everything & anything you want we can do it! Cody: what are you saying babe? Jay: I'm asking you to marry me! I said kneeling down on one knee taking out the ring box opening it showing the love of my life that I really mean it that I really want us to get married & raise our daughter & hopefully have another baby in a few years. Jay: will you cody lynn grannis please do me the honor of becoming my mrs.bieber? I asked showing her the beautiful engagement ring that I myself picked out for my beautiful girlfriend soon to be fiancé. Ava: pweez say yes mommy! We all looked behind us at our daughter in her high chair with ice cream all over her face with a big smile waiting for her mommy to say yes we laughed a little bit then I looked back at my girlfriend waiting for an answer. Cody: my answer is yes! When she said yes I was overly happy that we get to spend the rest of our lives together. I took the ring out of the box & placed it on her ring finger stood up & took my fiancé in my arms & spun us around while laughing together I slowly placed her back on her feet then took her face in my hands & slowly leaned forward to capture her lips & we kissed with so much passion we slowly pulled away looking into each other's eyes. Jay: I love you sweetheart! Cody: I love you more! Ava: Yay! The both of us looked over at avalanna again & she was really happy that her mommy said yes to marrying me. Tyler: I have a gift for the two of you! Cody: what's that dad? We watched tyler take something out of his pocket cody & I both were in shock to find that it was a set of keys he handed them to me I looked down at them totally in shock. Jay: tyler where did you get this from? Tyler: this is our engagement gift to the both of you I found the house a few weeks ago & started moving stuff around behind your backs I called scooter & he & a bunch of your friends like ryan good, fredo, kenny, & dan all helped to move your things from your house & your mom's house to the new house your mom has the apartment above the three car garage & your mom is already living in the apartment! It has three bedrooms & three bathrooms & it's a two story house! & it has a recording studio for you to do your music & a home office for cody & play room for avalanna! A big backyard for ester to play & a swing set for avalanna that guys from work helped build for her! It has everything you need in a house! Jay: what about selling the houses? & my mom's already living there? Tyler: already sold them! & yes she's already living there she's got ester with her just waiting until you both get over there! Tyler said handing me a check for them I looked at the check to see how much it was that I got for them. eight point four million was the amount I saw on the check I was almost in tears because that was the amount I paid for both of our houses. Jay: tyler this is the amount I bought the houses for it's the exact same amount of what I bought them for years ago! Cody: we can use half of that for our wedding & honeymoon babe! Jay: we can do that! Tyler: & us parents chipped in & got you both something that's in the garage that you can share! Cody: dad you didn't get us an SUV did you? Tyler: okay fine we got you an SUV! Jay: tyler you didn't need to get us an SUV! Tyler: how are you going to drive avalanna to where ever she wants to go? & besides when you have another baby how are you going to fit a car seat & avalanna's booster seat in a two seater? He's got a point there. Jay: okay tyler you've got a point! Tyler: & everything that was in your house & in your mom's house is at the new house the only thing that needs to go over there is avalanna's things & the rest of cody's things we can put cody's bed in one of the guest rooms! Jay: so how about we take everything over tonight then we could all be moved in? Cody: I think that's a great idea babe! Jay: then let's get started! We all got cody's & avalanna's things from there rooms & put them into tyler's truck, mitzi's car & cody's car we all got into the cars & on our way to our house to unpack everything. We got to the house & unpacked everything & putting them in places that cody wanted them to be in after four hours we were all moved in even ester was here after everyone was done helping tyler & mitzi left leaving us in our house. Cody an I were laying down on the couch me wrapping my arms around her waist & her laying on top of me with her head snuggled up into my arms with her arms wrapped around my waist while our daughter is in her new room & in her new big girl bed we left her crib at tyler & mitzi's house so if we ever wanted to have another baby we could use that crib for him or her while we visited them. I was knocked out of my thoughts when I heard my fiancé's light snoring. Jay: babe lets go up to bed okay! I said trying to wake her up so I could get up from the couch. Cody: okay! She said yawning then getting up off me. Jay: why don't you head up to bed sweetheart while I let ester out & lock the doors & turn off the lights? Cody: okay! Jay: I love you sweetheart! Cody: I love you more jay! She went up to our room while I went to take ester out after she was done I took her back inside then turned off all the lights then headed up to our room with ester following me she jumped onto our bed & went to lay next to her now new mom. I went to get changed then went to get in bed with my beautiful fiancé that I love so much before I knew it I was sound asleep with my fiancé in my arms in our bed in our new house.
