Chapter-Twenty-Nine

Justin's POV
I'm in canada staying at a hotel while in hopes to see ryan & talk to him but anyway I'm on my way over to ryan's apartment with the help of his parents that gave me his address & apartment number & I'm finally here I parked in the parking lot got out & went inside to the elevator & went to the eighteenth floor & went down the hall to find apartment number fifty-eight-E & a few minutes later I found it & rang the bell after I rang it I waited for him to open the door & finally he did & once he did his eyes got huge. Ryan-B: what are you doing here? Jay: cody talked me into coming out here even though I didn't want to because of what happened with my grandma! Mind if we talk? Ryan-B: sure! He stepped aside & let me walk in while he closed the door behind me then we walked over to the couch & sat down. Ryan-B: how did you find where I lived? Jay: who do you think? I asked smirking over at him. Ryan-B: my parents? Jay: bingo! Ryan-B: i see that you're married now! He said looking at my wedding band on my finger. Jay: yeah I am & I'm really happy & we have a five year old daughter who by the way my then girlfriend got pregnant with when we visited my grandparents but didn't find that out that she was pregnant until the day we were supposed to head back to oregon! Ryan-B: you got cody pregnant? Jay: yes I got cody pregnant but before that I asked her to be my girlfriend the night that the police came & arrested you was the night she said yes to being my girlfriend & that afternoon was the day we had sex & that night I asked her to be my girlfriend & honestly I've never been this happy to have her as my wife now! We came here to visit my grandparents for a month & the moment we got off the jet my grandma didn't like cody the moment she met her & that day when we got to their house cody found grandma going through her stuff looking for drugs & cody told her flat out that she didn't take any or was hiding them then she found cody's birth control pills thinking they were drugs! That night we were in the middle of dinner & I noticed that cody wasn't getting anything past to her & I asked her why she wasn't eating my grandmother chimed in & said in front of grandpa & mom that she's too fat & that she didn't need to eat the food that she made & that all ended in grandma slapping cody across the face & that ended us staying there so we stayed at my dads house until we were heading back to oregon & the last day we were there was the day we found out that she was pregnant & once that news got to grandma she started yelling at me & told me that I shouldn't have gotten cody pregnant & called her a few not so nice names then cody said that maybe she should just leave & she just walked out the door got a taxi & went home & two years later I had the guts to call her & I did & we talked until I asked about our little one she said she she's fine & growing like a weed I realized that we had a daughter I asked if I could talk to her & I got to hear her little voice making me want to just hug her tight. After I talked to her I talked to cody again & that night she picked me & my mom up & we went to their house I got to meet our beautiful then two year old & from that night on we never left each other's side & months after that tyler found a house for us & we moved into it but that was after I had asked cody to marry me after we moved in we had an engagement party & my grandmother crashed that & wouldn't leave until the police were called by then cody told me that our wedding & engagement was over she took avalanna inside to our bedroom & started packing her things I did everything I could & finally the police came & took my grandmother to the station along with grandpa after everything calmed down we set a date for the next month & that's what we did & after we got merried I took her to paris for our honeymoon for three weeks & months later grandma comes back to our house & just barges in while cody was the only one home & started breaking everything in the house all of our wedding & shower gifts were broken among other things & two months ago I was picking up avalanna from school & found out that grandma picked her up & took her to a hotel we were all in a panic & I had gotten a phone call not knowing the number so I picked it up & the first thing I heard was daddy I'm scared! Then I realized it was avalanna calling me from somewhere she was able to tell me where she was at with the address & found out that she was in portland oregon we drove four hours to get her we got to the hotel & found the room I picked her up & got her backpack & lunch box & we left & that night we were all just talking until the doorbell rang once I opened it I heard a gun shot go off & realized that my grandma had shot me in the stomach the police came & arrested her & the ambulance came & took me to the hospital & a month or two later I recovered! Ryan-B: what about your grandma? Jay: she's in jail & my grandpa divorced her & moved in with us along with jazzy! Ryan-B: why's jazzy living with you? Jay: because she got pregnant & my dad found out about it & kicked her out of the house & we let her move in with us & with all that's happened she had a miscarriage I was going to ask my dad if she can move back home because she misses her friends & school but haven't had the chance yet I'm not even staying with them I'm staying in a hotel! If you're wondering if the restraining order is still up they dropped it awhile ago! Ryan-B: so it's okay for me to come back to oregon? Jay: if you want to! You can see cody & talk to her if you want! You're more than welcome to stay with us it's going to be a tight squeeze because we only have three bedrooms & an apartment that my mom moved into & grandpa is living with her! & jazzy has the other bedroom! Ryan-B: I'd like that! Jay: so are we good now bro? As i told cody before I got out here I miss us calling each other whether it's face-timing or texting I miss our good times that we had growing up it's not the same! Ryan-B: I miss it too! I miss us guys hanging out playing basketball or hockey! Jay: wanna go play some hockey? Ryan-B: sure! Ryan & I left & got in my rental car & headed to our favorite hockey place once we got there we got out & went inside got some hockey stuff put it on & played around for hours it was fun I've never had this much fun in a long time I sure did miss it after we got done playing hockey we went to play some basketball & I won. Ryan-B: why did I let you win? Jay: probably because I'm better than you! Ryan-B: ha! ha! We went back to his place & watched some movies i then realized that I haven't talked to my wife yet today so I thought I'd give her a call. (phone conversation between justin & cody) Cody: hey babe! Jay: hey sweetheart! How are things going at home? Cody: it's okay avalanna misses her daddy & I miss my husband! Jay: I miss you both too babe! What did you both do today? Cody: just hanged out both your mom & grandpa came down from the apartment & we had dinner & watched some movies & your daughter wanted to watch never say never so that's what we did! Jay: that's nice! Cody: when are you coming home? Jay: in a few days I'm debating whether or not I should go see my dad & talk to him about letting jazzy move back home! Cody: you think he will let her? Jay: honestly babe I don't know but it's worth a try to ask & see what happens! Cody: have you seen your grandparents house since you've been there? Jay: no not yet I don't think I could but I might do that & see what's left over there & if there isn't anything I might just put a for sale by owner sign on it & sell it with whatever is left inside it! Cody: you think that there's lots of stuff left in it? Jay: I won't find out until I go see it but I honestly don't think I can! Cody: give it a shot & see what happens have ryan or chaz go with you! Jay: yeah I might do that! I love you babe! Cody: I love you more! We hung up & I said. Jay: I'm gunna head over to my grandparents wanna come with me? Ryan-B: sure! We left his apartment & went to my grandparents house parked in the driveway got out & walked up the steps to the porch & luckly I still had their key so unlocked the door & we walked in looked around & found lots of things that were still looking nice but none of it I'd want to take so I'm going to sell the house with everything that's in it. Jay: there's nothing in here I want so I'm just going to put a for sale sign on the lawn! Ryan-B: good idea! We left locked the door & went to the store to get a for sale sign after that we went back & put the sign out with my number on it then left but I had this feeling that I needed to go see my dad & talk to him about jazzy. Jay: wanna come with me to see my dad? Ryan-B: okay! We were on our way to my dad's house an hour or two later we made it got out & went up to the door & rang the doorbell & waited for whoever to open it. Jaxon: hey bro! Jay: hey jax! We bro hugged & went inside to sit down. Jay: is dad & erin home? Jaxon: yeah I'll be right back! We went to the living room to wait for them a few minutes later they came in to the living room once my dad saw me he didn't look too happy to see me. Jeremy: what are you doing here? Jay: cody talked me into coming here to talk to ryan now that ryan & I are on good terms it's our turn to talk! I said calmly looking at him. Jeremy: if you are here to talk me into letting jazmyn move back home with a child the answer is no! Jay: would you let her move back in if I told you she had a miscarriage because of all the stress that was put on her the move from here to oregon? Erin: she lost the baby? Jay: yeah a few hours after her first doctor's appointment that cody took her to & with the stuff that has been happening with my grandmother I wouldn't be surprised that she lost the baby! My grandmother is now in jail for life because of what she did to avalanna & I! Jeremy: what happened? Jay: I was on my way to pick avalanna up from school when I got there they said that her grandmother picked her up I panicked called cody & asked if mom picked her up & she said that mom was on a book tour then I really panicked I rushed home as fast as I could tyler & mitzi came over & we talked & my phone rang I looked at the callerID to see who it was & it was a number that I didn't know but I had a gut feeling that it was avalanna & it was she said grandma took her to a hotel in portland oregon & told her to stay there if she didn't she'd hurt her she told us the address & we got there four hours later then left came home & just relaxed but that soon came to holt when the doorbell rang I went to see who it was & all I heard was a gun go off I then realized that she shot me in the stomach & from there she was arrested & sent to jail for life i recovered two months later & cody talked me into coming out here to talk to ryan & that's what I did & after we came here so I could talk to you! Jazzy wants to come home she misses her family her friends & her school! Jeremy: I've thought about it a lot & I'll let her come home! Jay: once we get back to oregon I can get her packed & moved back out here! Jeremy: sounds good! My dad & I hugged & I gave hugs to both erin & jaxon then both ryan & I left & went to my grandparents house even though I didn't want I needed to & get everything out of it or sell as is we got there got out of the car & went inside with my key I still had on my keyring I unlocked the door & we walked in once I saw everything that was still here I wanted to leave but I needed to get everything cleaned up to sell it. Both ryan & I started getting stuff to sell after almost seven hours we were done & I got a for sale by owner on it & by the time we were about to lock everything up & leave some people came & looked at the house & the wonderful part was is that they bought it with everything in it I got a check for the amount I bought it for years ago & now I don't have to worry about it just sitting here rotting once all that was done ryan & I went out to eat then I dropped him off at his apartment then went to my hotel called my wife & told her that I sold the house once I talked to both my wife & daughter I went to bed because ryan & I were leaving early in the morning to head to oregon.
