I'll Take Care of You (Usopp x Baby!Reader)

Part 1

(Because why not?)
(A/n- This is post-time skip and the characters may be a bit OOC [Out of character])

The crew was docking at a small autumn island to restock their supplies because Luffy ate most of the food that was to last the crew a whole three months.

"You goddamn glutton!", Nami yelled at the rubber bottomless pit and smacked him upside the head with her staff, "It's shit like this that puts us behind schedule!"

Luffy rubbed his sore head and whined, "Oww! Naaammmiii! That hurts!"

Sanji sighed as he puffed on a cigarette, "Serves you right, you shithead!"

Usopp rolled his eyes and muttered, "Leave it to Luffy to eat a whole three months worth of food in one sitting!"

Robin just chuckled at the whole situation. 

"I'm gonna stay on the ship, I need to work on something.", Franky said as they docked the ship.

The crew nodded and went their separate ways to shop. After he got what he needed, Usopp was enjoying the scenery of the lake and trees on the outskirts of the village. While looking around, he saw something very peculiar.

"What's a random basket doing out here?", he asked himself.

As he got closer to the basket and he was shocked at what he was hearing, "Is that crying?!"

He quickly made his way to check the basket, the crying was getting louder. What he saw broke his heart, a little baby girl with a tuft of (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes that were red and puffy from crying, and wrapped up in a pink blanket.

Usopp saw an envelope close to the baby and opened it.

"Dear whoever finds my daughter,
Please take care of her. I'm not in any condition to care for her, I'm too sick and I have no living relatives that can care for her. Her name is (Y/n) and she was born on
(y/b/d). Please take care of her and love her like I'm not able to.", He read out loud.

He put the letter back in the envelope and put it in his bag before picking up the infant, rocking her gently,
"There there, no need to fuss!"

The little baby stopped crying and started cooing at Usopp. He smiled as he started to walk back to the ship with his new daughter in his arms.
