I'll Take Care of You (Usopp x Baby!Reader)

Usopp was halfway to the Sunny when he was stopped by an old woman. She smiled at him and said,
"So you've found the Sairhen child?"

Usopp was confused,
"Sairhen? The letter I found with her said that her name was (Y/n)."

"It is.", the old woman's smile seemed to become sad, "Sairhen is the ancient tribe of human-like creatures that has a voice so powerful that they could level whole kingdoms and cities if chosen. They can keep their powerful voices at bay with the necklace they are given at birth. They're similar to sirens, but Sairhens aren't mermaids."

Usopp was amazed at what he had learned, "Really?!"

The old woman nodded, "A lot of the villagers had tried to kill both her and her mother because they're scared of what Sairhens are capable of."

Usopp frowned deeply, "How awful! She's only a baby! She can't help if she's that powerful!"

The old woman sighed, "That's true, but I'm glad that the child is safe, Lillabeth would be more than happy to hear that her daughter is in good hands. God rest her soul, the poor woman was so ill."

Usopp looked closer at (Y/n) and asked, "Where is her necklace? I don't see it on her."

The old woman walked closer and moved a bit of the blanket and pulled out a lovely necklace with a sliver chain and a multicolored gem and smiled, "There are different colors for the gems, they represent the Sairhens' natural element. White means wind, blue means water, red means fire, green means earth, gold means light, and purple means darkness. It's extremely rare to see a Sairhen child that has all the natural elements as their natural element."

Usopp marveled at his new daughter,
"That's truly amazing!"

The old woman laughed,"That it is! She's special, so take great care of her!"

Usopp smiled and nodded,"Don't worry! I plan on it!" The old woman smiled and walked away.

Usopp looked down at (Y/n), "Let's get back to the ship!"
