As we were driving to the restaurant we were surrounded by a comfortable silence.

I looked out the window. Imagining our future together. 
Will we last long? Get married? Have kids?

I'm quite surprised of what I have in mind. Would it mean that I'm ready settle with him?

No not yet

"What's are you thinking?" He asked

"You" I answered shyly

"And what do you have in mind?

"Us"

He smiled and looked at the road again. And whispered

We were lounging outside the house. In a tiny cavern for Lucy.
Looking at the stars,laying side by side

Simon and I have been dating for 3 weeks now, everything seemed so perfect. And I couldn't ask for more.

I looked at him and suddenly felt my heart beat. Pounding dangerously. This is it. I should tell him now.

I hold his hand and looked at the stars

"Simon" I said

"Yes baby?" His voice in audible whisper

"I love you"

He quickly looked at me, and smiled an unbelievable expression from his face.

He pulled me in for a hug and kissed my forehead

"I love you too Adele" he said softly cupping my face and kissing my lips multiple times

"Simon stop!" I laughed

His face suddenly turned serious now "don't you know how long I waited for you to say that baby?" He asked.

"I have no idea!" I said jokingly

He on the other hand, still serious " too long baby, I've waited too long, you were so much younger back then"

I looked at him surprised. What is he talking about? I stayed quiet and he continued to speak.

"I was there all along. Behind the booth when you were recording 19, I witnessed how miserable you were, I controlled myself not to run to you and hug you, and tell you that I love you, I was listening to you. But you were too young. Too innocent for a guy like me.

And when I heard that you're gonna make a record again I didn't waste any time and quickly offered to be your producer.

When you were recording 21, I sat there. Why would anyone hurt you that way?
No one should hurt you. You're beautiful, inside and out. I couldn't wait to be with you and show you off.

Then I decided I must show you how much I love you. And here I am, with you. I love you baby, I always had and always will"

I looked at him bewildered. Tears flowing out of my eyes.

"Oh Simon" I sniffed while he wipe down my tears

I'm speechless, I don't know what to say. Here is a guy. Who love me and I never noticed it before!

"Am I going to fast baby?" He asked relief and nervousness visible on his voice

"No simon, you're just right on time"
