I walked along the damp, dark road back to my house. My long brunette hair swayed in the wind, it was cold and rainy. My phone rang again for the fifth time, I answered it in an irritated manner, "What now?" I asked my mum as I rolled my eyes, "I'm just checking to make sure you are safe" Mum replied "It's dark and you know how I feel about you being out in the dark". I sighed, "Mum don't worry I have my gun with me at all times" I reassured her, there was a long pause before Mum said "Well okay, just get home fast".
