Dragonvale : A Choose Your Own Adventure Story

A beginning

It was a warm summer day when it hit you. You, a young farmboy or girl, have been living a boring, average, repetitive life since your birth in the barn. You began to yearn to see the outside world and begin adventuring. From the stories your mother has told you since birth about the dangers of the places around your quaint little farm, you're aware what lies in each direction. Venturing to the gate leading out of the farm, you ponder which way to go. North leads into the Daedelic Mountains, supposedly inhabitted by giants and dragons. Your mother said you would die if you step foot in that forsaken place. To the west lies the Faerie Forest, a supposedly mystical place where fairies take young children to be eaten. All who have entered have not come out. To the east is a dirt road that leads to the capital, Croxia. Your mother fears that you'll be swept away and lose yourself to the big city, never to return to a simple life again. To the south is the farm you've grown up in your entire life.
