You calm yourself and converse with the rock. You say rather politely "I'm sorry for stepping on your flowers. You surprised me when you awoke."
The stone face turns to a scowl and responds angrily "Watch where you are stepping insignificant mortal!"
You mutter under your breath "@sshole..."
The stone hears your words and goes all caps rage on you "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY! I WILL DEVOUR YOUR WEAK FLESH AND BONES! YOU WILL BE GROUND INTO A FINE DUST THAT I WILL SNORT LIKE YOU MORTALS AND YOUR COCAINE!!!"
You stare at the stone and break into laughter. What can a stone face do anyways? Unfortunately for you though, your laughter pushed the disgruntled stone over the edge and it decided to actually do something. The earth beneath your feet begins to tremble. Slowly, a massive stone body, glowing the same fiery hue of the face emerges from the floor beneath your feet. Unbeknownst to you, the stone face belongs to an angry golem. Before you've time to react, the golem claps and smashes your body. You go limp and everything turns to black. I will tell you though that the golem did indeed grind your flesh and bones into a fine powder and snort it.
