Sorry guys, told you I would have updated sooner but I didn't. I deeply apologize.

So this next part has a lot of violence in it and I've never written anything with this much violence. Tell me what you think :) I really want to know what I need to improve on!

Some grammar and spelling errors.

But still, enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!

He could feel the adrenaline coursing through his veins. His wolf was itching for a fight against the intruders. And he was ready to give them one.

Teach them a lesson, no one trespasses on SilverMoon. His wolf growled deeply.

Marcus crouched slightly lower to the ground, ready to strike at any moment. He continued to focus his attention on the two males in front of him, keeping himself calm as he felt the others starting to surround them. They were masking their scents and moving as if they were ghosts. It didn't bothered him because he could clearly see them, but he wasn't sure how Valerie would fare.

Marcus noted how Collin and Hunter frowned slightly as they directed their gaze to the female behind him. Collin even took a step back and Hunter reached behind him to get another arrow.

He turned his gaze away from the two males and was expecting to see the shadows of the other werewolves closing in. But that was not the case.

His eyes widened in shock at the image before him.

Marcus couldn't believe his eyes.

He took in the scattered remnants of clothes. They were ripped and scraps were found here and there. The moon shined down between the branches and he could make out a silver glint on the ground, knowing that it was a dagger.

But that was not what surprised him so.

Where Valerie had stood was now a pure white she-wolf.

She was a beautiful creature. Bigger than the average female werewolf, but still slender and smaller than the average male werewolf. Her fur was like pure snow, her paws dainty and her tail was primed up. Her sharp canines were showing as she growled at the threat that was closing in on them. Her claws dug into the ground, ready to pounce and strike. Her true eyes, which were hidden by contacts before, could be seen. They were a murky amber color, her blindness still evident in the cloudiness of her eyes.

But even with the disadvantage she still emitted a strong aura of strength and power.

Marcus heard the swoosh of an arrow being released before he saw it fly passed him and towards the she-wolf.

“Valerie dodge it now!” He shouted and all hell broke loose as the female jumped out of the way of the arrow and it lodged itself into the throat of one of the intruders.

The wolves came out of the shadows like demons, rushing toward Valerie and Marcus. The archer behind him continued to fire arrows at the both of them. Whether it was out of sheer luck or instinct, Valerie was able to dodge Hunter's attempts. Marcus depended primarily on his sight and was able to jump out of the way of each arrow.

Marcus dodged as one of the wolves tried to go for his jugular. He grabbed the wolf by the throat and crushed its windpipe with his bare hands. Then he threw the dead corpse at another assailant.

Another male came at him and Marcus merely grabbed the wolf by his snout and crushed it. The male whined in pain. Marcus could feel the shattering of bones and he promptly twisted the male's neck, snapping it in half. Killing him instantly.

He gave out a groan of pain as a werewolf lodged its jaws into his left shoulder blade. He grabbed the beast and threw it promptly against one of the tree trunks hard enough to break the wolf's spine. A small whimpered escaped from the fallen wolf.

He growled as three more wolves closed in on him, glaring at them menacingly as all three jumped straight for his throat. He fell to the ground and rolled away from the three. Then flipped himself back up.

In front of him, he saw he dead corpses of seven wolves around Valerie. Her muzzle was covered in blood and streaks of crimson painted her fur into a bloody canvas. She was holding her own until a wolf came out from behind her and lodged his jaws into her neck, knocking her down onto her side. She gave a whimper of pain as the blood trickled down from her neck and soaked into the ground.

Marcus saw red and gave a roar of anger as he ran straight for the bastard that had Valerie pinned. He pulled the wolf off her by grabbing onto the male's throat. Marcus' eyes glowed amber and he crushed the windpipe with one hand. Then he dropped the wolf onto the ground. He kept his eyes trained on the rest of the wolves closing in on them. There were ten more left, including Collin and Hunter.

Right next to him, from the corner of his eye, Marcus saw Valerie struggling to get up. She was a helpless lamb with blood pouring out of her neck like a faucet. If she didn't stop the bleeding she'll die. Marcus was determined to not let that happen.

Valerie stood up slowly, her legs trembling at the effort. Her breathing was labored and the blood continued to run a river into the ground.

She considered herself lucky that she was able to bring seven of the bastards down. She trusted her wolf and allowed her full reign when she was in her beast form. Even without her sight, her wolf instinctively knew when to strike and each windpipe that Valerie crushed between her jaws was a victory.

Her wolf reveled in each kill.

But one of them bastards had gotten behind her defenses and she was paying the price for that.

She still couldn't hear any of them nor smell them but she used the elements around them to pinpoint each asshole, using the small breeze that was coursing between the trees. Where no wind passed or was met with even the slightest disturbance, Valerie knew there was an enemy standing there.

She also knew that she would eventually succumbed to blood loss and Marcus would have to defend himself against the group of intruders.

We'll get through this. Her wolf determinedly said.

I believe you. I do, but I don't know if we can. Valerie whispered.

Don't give up on me human. We're survivors. We will survive.

The internal argument was interrupted by the male's voice next to her.

“Valerie,” Marcus's voice penetrated the sound of her labored breathing. “I'll be your eyes, listen to me and we'll get out of this alive.”

She allowed the strength of his words to fuel her determination to live. He was resolute in her living through this. But his next words were the key to her survival.

“I'm not going to let you die here.” He whispered, she was taken aback by his words.

She pressed her bloody muzzled into his hand gently nudging it. The only real sign of affection that she had ever bestowed upon him. Her message clear and concise.

I believe in you.
