Ayato and Kaneki stared at her with anxiety as she began slowly walking, keeping her eyes in contact with Ayato's blue ones the entire time.

All of a sudden the two boys heard a loud bang, and a rattle.

Opening their eyes from flinching, they see bloody and bruised hands wrapped around the air conditioning cage, In a strong death grip.

Her feet are spread on both sides of the cage as her hands keep a tight grip on the bars, keeping her hold while suspended several yards in the air.

They notice her knuckle bones had burst through her bruised skin, showing the bloody skeleton risen above.

Grimacing at the sight, soon reality slaps them in the face.

They then realize they are in danger.

"Ayato! Go!" Kaneki screams to Ayato, giving him a rough shove.

Ayato begins crawling as fast as he could, making his way to the exit.

Kaneki looked behind him to see the bloody beast rip off the cage with her bare hands, throwing it beneath her, plummeting to the ground soon making a loud d crash as it lands violently.

He notices her has been activated Kakugan activated and her face seemed blood thirsty.

Kaneki's eyes widen and crawls after Ayato as fast as he could.

Ayato trudges ahead with increasing speed, his eyes directed to the lighted exit.

He grows closer and closer to the exit, and jumps down into the hallway.

After landing he looks up, waiting for Kaneki with slight panic.

He grows worried when he doesn't see him.

Suddenly he sees a flash of black glide past him and over his head, hearing a loud bang.

His eyes direct towards the object, feeling tense. He notices it's Kaneki.

"Come on! She's close!" Kaneki yells and takes off in a dead sprint straight through the halls.

*huff huff* "I was waiting for you dumbass!" Ayato pants to the white haired man who is already taking off.

Their long legs go as fast as they will take them trying to reach the turns.

"What do we do?" Kaneki asks Ayato, looking behind him as he runs.

Ayato's midnight hair flops with every step he took.

Their heavy breathing echoes the vacant halls.

*CRASH*

The boys look behind them.

Raven had took a giant leap to the ground from the vents.

Her dark messy hair covered her face.

The boys stopped to stare at her, attempting to catch their breath.

They look behind them and just watched her.

In a frog position from her recent landing, she springs forward, darting towards the ghouls.

"Eh." Kaneki grunts as he takes off.

"Ayato! Get in front of me! You're her target, I'll try to slow her down!" He yells to Ayato, slowing down.

"She is gonna get you dumbass!"

"Just go!"

Kaneki and Ayato sprint with long strides through the dark vacant hallways.
