My beautiful wolf mate barks at Allod as if he is staking his claim on I. Allod is shaking at the commanding presence my mate brings. He lays down on his knees lowing his head, showing his neck as an act of submission. Allod eyes never become uncovered all while doing this. My wolf purrs at the sight of our dominate male protecting us. My wolf mate hovers over him, displaying his white canines, he does not need another male protecting me. The milky scent wraps around me strangling me, preventing me from voicing words.

"Stop," I whisper. "He's hurting, I am taking him to the infirmary," I croak out, placing my hands on his silky fur. He seemed to relax from his tense state. I bend down on one knee, resting my nose against his, feeling his warm breath even out with mine. I close my eyes as I wait for his body to transform. "Mate, please." I urge, keeping a hand steady on the firm green grass while the other is placed behind on the creme dye behind his ear.

Only minutes go by that felt like hours, patiently waiting, smelling his enticing scent. I could feel Allod tremble from the presence my wolf mate claims. The wind shifts with my mate having yet to change. I flutter my eyes open and his striking green eyes stare directly into my brown ones. His desire vanishes away replacing with a different look, I hold my breathe refusing to breath.

His fur ruffles around his head and run off into the way of war. I stand straight watching my mate run off into the moon then my necklace falls down to my neck, dull. His chocolate and creme fur flashes away before I get a chance to see his green eyes once more. My heart cracks into tiny pieces with each stride, he gets farther. A pressure tightens around my stomach causing me to fall to knees, deep into the mossy clearing, breathing in the earth trying to forget the scent. Allod stops shaking, not feeling my mate's powerful presence any longer.

"Princess may I stand and release my eyes?"

I transform into my wolf mind-linking Allod, "uncover your eyes and get on." He limps to me mounting his body onto mine. His arms wrap securely around my neck. I use all my strength to prevent my wolf from following our mate. My wolf growls as I remind her of our hurting solider. I gallop towards the infirmary in the castle. As I gallop Allod whimpers becomes louder, making my wolf take over and run faster, distracting her from our runaway mate.

Almost there Allod, be patient.

He whimpers as I feel warm water hit my fur, dampening my back. My wolf whimpers a little, the warm tears encouraged my wolf to dig our paws deeper to the grass making us glide across the forest. I leave a trail of unrooted grass as I scampered to the castle. I howl at the moon before transforming into my human to help Allod into the infirmary. Allod close his eyes as I hold his arm in my hand.

We walk into a little area located in the east wing of the castle. Where Howard, the court physician, tends to the wounded soldiers. The castle evacuated, everyone should be underground, seeking safety and provisions. Allod groaned once more as we reach Howard's infirmary. The door opened with Howard behind the door with a dressing gown in one hand and the door handle in the other.

At the he sight of other wounded soldiers my wolf to whimpers. Five to ten are either groaning on a bed or on the ground, with their naked body glistening with sweat. My heart skips a beat in agony of my hurt men. Howard quickly wraps the dressing gown around my naked body before I move Allod around.

"Are any dead?" I speak quickly sitting Allod to the closest unfilled bed. I move around the room and they each give me a slight smile while bowing their head respectfully. I bend down at one man who has a sever wound, on his chest. I tear a piece of my gown and press it down in his chest to stop the blood. My hands grow red as we both whimper out in pain, mine more emotional pain then physical.
