First, he says he likes your best friend then the next thing he kisses you and calls you 'honey'? Isn't it so crazy?! He's so crazy. Kevin is crazy and I am becoming crazy because my mind is not functioning properly. It cant understand what's happening.
He just stole my first kiss! I always imagined that my first kiss will be at my wedding day! Yes, it can be absurd but I have always been this reserved and conservative about those things. Manang na kung manang.
I tried to shake it off my mind and just focused on the powerpoint that I am doing for my report. Gahh. Yan tuloy hindi namin napag-usapan ng maayos yung report. Buti nalang naka-divide na yung parts namin. Hayyy.
"Jessie, kanina ka pa buntong-hininga ng buntong-hininga dyan ah." sabi ni daddy
"Uhm. Maybe my mind is just adjusting." I said. Adjusting sa pagbabago ng ugali ni Kevin jerk.
"Busy na ba agad, anak? Naku. Kayang-kaya mo yan. Ikaw pa." sabi ni daddy. I love my daddy so much kasi love na love niya din ako despite I am not his real daughter. I hugged him and I felt like natanggal lahat ng stress ko.
"Oo nga, daddy. I always forget that I am Jessiemae Garcia, your daughter. Hehe. I'm now motivated." sabi ko. We have always been like this. Sweet. That's why I cant imagine another guy in my life. Kasi si daddy palang sapat na. But Kevin... he's unexplainable.
"Okay, do good dear. I'll just fix the things outside." said daddy as he kissed me on my forehead and went out.
It's so convenient in this house because everyone treats each other as family. Even Mr. and Mrs. Reyes are so good to us. Si Kevin lang talaga ang hindi friendly. Palibhasa only child. Spoiled brat.
I have my own room which has its own comfort room. Ganyan kabait ang parents ni Kevin. Siguro ampon lang si Kevin. Ang layo ng ugali sa mga magulang niya eh. Pero that's impossible kasi kamukhang-kamukha niya ang dad niya from the picture that hangs on the wall sa living room nila.
I just continued doing what I'm doing until hindi ko na napansin ang oras. It's already 11 pm at hindi pa ako nagdidinner. Ughh. So hungry!
Lumabas ako at pumunta sa dining room. Lights are all out kasi tulog na lahat ng tao. Sana si kuya guard hindi pa at sana ginagawa niya ang trabaho niya. I searched the refrigerator for food. Kakainin ko na kahit malamig pa. Hindi ako marunong magluto eh.
Ang tahimik ng paligid. It's so peaceful. Tanging tunog lang ng kuliglig yung naririnig tapos malamig pa yung simoy ng hangin.

What the?! Kakasabi ko lang napaka-peaceful tapos may nag-ingay naman. Hala! Sino kaya yun?! Baka magnanakaw! Kuya guard what are you doing?!
May naririnig akong footsteps and my eyes looked for the source. Wow magnanakaw, pumasok sa front door. Then I saw a shadow of a man. I followed the trail papunta sa shadow. Palaki ng palaki meaning palapit ako ng palapit sa may-ari ng shadow. I was a step away nung may nag-sneeze!
*Achooo!*
Oo! Nag-sneeze! And ang familiar ng voice. But my problem is with myself. Lumakad pa ako papunta sa source na alam ko naman kung sino. Hindi ko makita nasan siya kasi madilim nga. Bakit kasi hindi ko buksan yung ilaw diba.
I walked towards the switch and clicked to turn on the lights. Pagkatalikod ko halos tumalon ang puso ko! Jusko! Nasa likod ko si Kevin!
"Good lord!" napabulalas ako
He didnt say anything pero naaninag ko ang smirk niya! Bakit ba ang hilig niyang mag-smirk? Ang hot kaya niya pag ganun! OMG! Bakit ganito iniisip ko?!
