...a few weeks after the outbreak
We were deployed to rescue survivors in a local area.
As we entered a town where we suspect survivors to be in, we found out that we were not alone... And they weren't who we were looking for. As the Infected charge towards us, we decided to escape while we still can since it this place has been filled with infected people. We got into our transport and drove off. As we were driving off, the driver seemed really strange, I tapped on his shoulder to ask if he was feeling ok. When he turned back to look at me, he tried to attack me. I had to push him off but now nobody is taking control of the transport and we ended up in accident. I woke up in an old house with no memory on how I got here. I heard noises nearby, but I realized that I didn't have my weapons. So I picked up the axe that was left on the table. So I slowly approach to where the noise was coming from. As I raised the axe, I found it was a survivor. So I put the axe down and apologize for almost killing him. So I asked him on what happened to the rest of my team. "I found nobody else left other than you." He responded. "And you shouldn't stay here for too long, it's almost night." So I asked "what happens during night time?" "That's when things get real." He responded. "But all I have to say is good night and good luck." As he passed me my weapons, he said "I kept to make sure you didn't end up killing by accident like just now but you better get going." So I replied "alright, I'll make sure that won't happen again and good luck to you too." As I opened the door, he said "head to the Tower, you can restock supplies and everything also it's well defended, good enough to survive a night." I replied "thanks for the information." I went outside and looked at tall building, so i said "that must be the tower he was talking about." "Well, there's probably going to be a lot to fight before I get there" as I check my ammo magazine, I said "well, I have to make every bullet count." After fighting through a lot, there was only one of them in my way before I get near the Tower. And that last one was different that the others, because it had a blade instead of a right arm. My raised my gun up and pulled the trigger, and then I realized I had no more bullets left. As it approached me, I grab the axe that I holstered on my back And got ready to fight it. As soon I took one step, it got shot in the head. As I turned my back, i saw the survivor who helped me earlier.
He said "well... it was getting a bit boring staying there by myself, so I decided to follow you or your trail of death." I responded "I appreciate your help, now time to enter the Tower." As we head to the gate. The guard asked "what is your business here?" I replied "we came to restock supplies and maybe take a rest also surviving the night." The guard said "alright, you can come in." The guard proceeds to opening to gate through the control room. When the gate opened, a few other guards checked on the entrance making sure nothing else gets in. As I looked around the place, I saw a shop. So I went to the shop to buy some food, but I found a Pringles can. When I went to pay for it, I remembered I didn't have any money... But the owner of the shop gave it for free anyways. So I went to look for room to rest in, but instead I end up walking to a public room. Went I entered the room, somebody gave me a bag and said "take this, you'll need to carry more stuff in an easier way and also there's some basic things for survival." So I placed my Pringles Can in the bag and asked "where can I find a place to rest." A guard responded "next floor." I replied "thanks." So I went to the next floor and took a rest on a couch. And I said "wake me up in the morning, I am tired."
