A few weeks later...
I've decided to head out to explore the location more,
since the tower is the only place I know that is safe. As I was exploring, I got a bit tired and decided to go take a rest in that nearby. I think it's safe since I haven't got into any trouble recently. So I went inside the house and took a seat. As I was sitting down, I heard somebody with a familiar voice say "you picked the wrong person to fight with!" As I turned around I see somebody wearing a juggernaut suit and Carrying a shotgun and so I realized who that person was. So I said "Vlad, it's me! Calm down." Vlad responded "oh hello my friend, it's been a while hasn't it?" So I replied "yes, it's been a while." Vlad was a Russian soldier that helped me after one of my missions went wrong, and after that we've became friends. So I asked "so how are things going around here?" Vlad responded "The military has been split into different factions and they aren't here to help." I asked "do you know any nearby safe place to go to?" Vlad responded "I am afraid not." As I was about to say something, Vlad interrupted "Wait, there is an old airbase not so far from here but the problem is that there would be lots of things in our way. And so I said "I'll take that risk, but I think it's a good idea to wear my old uniform so I can possibly have a greater of not getting shot." So I head back to the tower along with Vlad. I changed to my old uniform and asked for a map. so I told Vlad, "can you mark the location of the airbase on this map?" Vlad responded "sure." And marked the location of the airbase. As we left the Tower, we decided to search for a car. So we head off in search of a car and manage to find an old car. We checked the car if it was still able to be used. Vlad said "just need some minor repairs and will be good to go." So Vlad assigned me to find him some materials needed to fix it. So I went off to the abandoned hardware store. after picking up the tools, I heard footsteps nearby. So I tried to quietly make my way out but accidentally hit something and making it fall and echoed. And then I ended up in a fight with hostile scavengers but I came out of the hardware store alive. So I went back to Vlad and gave him the tools, Vlad said "well done, my friend." I decided to sleep on a chair until Vlad finishes the repairs. I woke up right in time, Vlad has just finished the repairs and will be ready to go. So I went to the driver's seat while Vlad sat on the passenger seat, and so we drove off.
