Chapter 1

I'm walking alone in the dark while carrying 4 bags. Ugh. This sucks. And dangerous, im a girl walking alone in the dark like hello? Someone can drag me in a car and take me away. How come my parents never thought of that? Sigh I don't wanna get kidnapped. 

I finally arrived at the motel and I'm being totally honest that, THIS. PLACE. IS. DISGUSTING. But just for one night. One night. Oh god please let this night over. I wanna wake up tomorrow morning and get out from here. Okay, relax Ariana. Relax.

15 minutes later

I've got the keys to my room, and I swear this motel is crowded. And the smell of cigarette and alcohol is everywhere. I'm so not comfortable. I just want to go home. Sigh.

I took my pajamas out from my bag and went in the toilet. Suddenly, I SAW COCKROACHS EVERYWHERE. I ran out screaming and closed the door hoping the cockroachs won't come near the bed. But obviously it will right? Oh god. 5 minutes staying here and it's already like hell. 

I decided not to change to my pajamas. Well, the toilet is full of cockroaches. And if i change here, nasty guys outside the window will be creepin. THATS CREEPY. 

I took out my phone from my hand bag and called my one and only best friend. Hoping she would pick up. Well first, let me tell you about my best friend. She goes to the same school with me. We have been best friends since kindergarten. After we graduate, her parents bought her an apartment in LA. Since her results were really good. But turns out she doesn't want to go to a real college. She decided to "college online". Since she moved, I'm left alone. She really wanted me to move in with her, but my parents are so strict and of course they won't let me go to LA. But after they kicked me out, maybe I could just stay with her for a couple days?

Come on, pick up Jane. Please.

"Hello? Ariana?"

"Oh my god Jane!!!"

"What is it Ariana? You sound like you're about to cry, come on tell me!!"

"Sigh... my parents kicked me out."

"WHAT?! WHY?!"

"Honestly, I have no idea. I went to the mall alone to buy a new phone charger but when I got back, my dad screamed at me and told me to get the hell out. More heartbreaking, my mom packed my clothes and stuffs for me."

"Oh my god Ariana.. If only I could see you right now...Sigh.. I would help you out bestie!! Anything I can do??"

"Actually yes.. Urm, do you mind if I stay at your apartment for a couple days?"

"OF COURSE ARIANA YES WHEN WILL YOU BE COMING HERE IN LA OMG WE'RE GOING TO DO SO MANY THINGS HERE IN LA OMG I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO TELL YOU OMG OMG OMG"

"Oh my god, Jane. Hahaha calm down, I'm gonna book a ticket to LA later, so i'll be seeing you tomorrow. Yayyy hahaha the flight from here to LA is not that far so when I've reach LA i'll give you a call."

"Oh trust me Ari, I'm gonna camp out at the airport."

"Haha you're crazy."

"Well,"

"Haha you know Jane, the motel I'm staying right now is like living in a cave. My toilet is full of cockroaches, there's nasty guys creeping on other people's room and I can tell that the guy living next door to me is talking to cockroaches."

"That's disgusting! It's okay, when you're here, it's like you're living in a hotel. Ahh, can't wait to see you."

"Can't wait to see you too Jane. I've gotta get going, gonna book a ticket and go straight to bed. Night Jane, see you tomorrow. Miss you tarzan."

"Alright haha miss you too Grande. Bye."

Haha yes, we have weird nicknames for each other. 

I took out my laptop from my bag and booked a ticket to LA. Lucky for me, there's a ticket. That's a relief.

I switched off my laptop and I lay down on my bed. Today has been a bad day. Hurts me a lot that I've dissappointed my parents. Sad that I don't even know what I did.
