Chapter 2.

I woke up to find myself on the floor. I don't even know how I even got on the floor. Even my back hurts. 

I stretched myself and look at the time on my phone, turns out that it's still early. It's 9 o clock and my flight is at 1 o clock. There is no way I'm showering at this place. I changed to my normal clothes and packed my stuffs and got out from here. There's a swimming pool place near the motel so I decided I should just take a shower there.

After I showered, I put on back the clothes I wore just now (i'm just saving my clothes, i don't even know how many clothes my mother packed for me.) And went outside to call a taxi. Then when I bumped into someone... I fell on my butt and I don't even bother to look at that person's face. I am so embarrassed. I got up and the person sounded so familiar. I was so curious and looked up, and oh my god. Why is this happening to me.

"Ariana? Ari? Is that you?"

"Hey.. Mike." I said.

"Sorry I bumped you and you fell on your butt. Haha, I thought you hated swimming?"

"I didn't went for a swim. I took a shower acfually."

"Wait, why? And what's with the bags? .........Did you ran away?" 

"No, Mike. Long story actually."

"I see, where you heading? I know this is weird we're talking, you know.. We haven't talked since we broke up..."

"It's not weird, Mike. It's that, I'm shocked that you're still talking to me. I mean, I was a mess back then, okay maybe still am but I don't know..."

"You were a mess to be honest haha but we didn't broke up because of that.. It's just your parents. Your dad was so mad when he found out that you're dating. But it's okay I understand."

"Thanks Mike, I knew you would understand."

"So, where you heading?"

"I'm going to the airport actually. I'm going to LA. I'm gonna stay over at Jane's."

"Woah LA, you want me to send you to the airport? I don't have any plans right now."

"Oh, that would be great. Thanks again Mike. You're really nice."

The car ride was awkward.. I mean, we've dated for a year and since my parents found out, we broke up and never spoke to each other ever since. And now i'm in a car, alone. With him. I think I'm doing a bad decision but Mike's not a bad guy. I've known him for too long. 

"So Ari.. You know, you can just tell me what's wrong. Four bags and you showering at the Swimming Club. What's wrong?"

"Well, last night my parents kicked me out. I have no idea why. So I stayed at a motel near the swimming club. The toilet was full of cockroaches so there is no way I'm gonna stay there ever again."

"What the hell? Man, your parents never thought of talking about it? That's not parenting. And that is so disgusting."

"Exactly! Ugh, can't wait till I get out from here."

"Relax Ari, it's just a bad day. Not a bad life."

It's just a bad day. Not a bad life. Cheesy, yet so inspring.

"Yeah, you're right."

"Hey Ari..."

"Yeah?"

"You know, if you're going through something, you can just call me. I mean, I can always help you. Doesn't mean we broke up, we can't be friends right?"

"Yeahh, you're right. Again. Haha, thanks Mike."

"No problem Miss Gray. This is your captain speaking, we will be arriving at the airport in another 10 minutes."

"Why thank you for the update Mr Stewart. Hahaha, still the same Mike I've known."

3 hours later

I gave Mike a friendly hug and thanked him for driving me to the airport. 

"I give you a call when I've arrived!" I said

"Alright! Have fun and take care, Ari! Good luck, oh and I will let you know on what your parents are doing while you're in LA!" He said

"Okie dokie! Oh and don't let my parents find me. Please."

"I won't." He smiled and gave me a tight hug.

I hugged back and said, "Thank you so much Mike. I'll see you if I ever get back. I'll call you soon. 

I let go of the hug and wave goodbye and gave my passport to the guard and they let me in. And I made my way to the plane.

15 minutes later

I found my seat and fasten my seatbelts. It's my first time travelling alone. This is gonna be fun and scary. The pilot went on the speaker and talk about what we should do and not do in the plane. I really hope my life would get so much better.
