That rainy day (One direction fanfic)

New Friends

                      Maddie's POV

  It's a rainy day and I am hurrying back from my friend's house. I have to walk because my car is getting fixed. I can barely see anything because it is raining so hard.

Then I run into something hard.

"Ow!" I say.

I look up to see I ran into a lamp post.

"Are you alright?" I hear an Irish accent call.

Suddenly I have someone kneeling next to me. I can't really see him but his voice sounds familiar.

"Do you need help?" he asks.

"Thank you but I've got it." I say and stand up. I'm really wobbly though and it's even harder to see.

"I think you need help." he says. "How far away do you live?"

"About ten blocks away." I answer.

"You'll never make it that far in this weather. I live right here. Do you want to at least come in and dry off?" he asks.

"I guess." i say. I know. Who walks into a stranger's house? Not me normally. I just feel safe with this person. Then it hits

me...

"I don't know your name." I say.

"I'm Niall. What's your name?" he asks.

"I'm Maddie." I answer.

When we walk into his house I see four guys sitting there.

"Who's the girl?" a guy with black hair asks. Then I realize that is Zayn Malik. Next to him are Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Harry Styles. That means that the drenched, kind, Irish guy next to me is Niall Horan!

"This is Maddie." he answers.

"It was nice meeting you guys." I say.

"But I have to get going. I know you guys are probably busy. Thank you for the help Niall, though."

Then I walk out the door.

"Wait! Maddie!" Niall calls behind me.

I turn around.

"Can I have your number?" He asks.

"Sure." I say. And we exchange numbers.

"Will you stay the night?" he asks.

"I can't. I have work tomorrow." I answer.

Then the rest of the boys walk by. "We have to go Niall." Harry says.

"OK. Good night." Niall says.

After they are gone I say,"But I guess I could call in tomorrow."

Niall smiles and we walk back into his house.

"What do you want to do?" he asks.

"Do you have any good movies?"

"Yeah."

"Do you have Grown Ups?"

"Yup." he says and goes to put it in.

We sit down to watch it. About half way through I start to get sleepy.
