I dismounted Finn and lead him back to his stall. Hugo smile, almost looking proud of himself.

"What are you smiling about?" I said, looking at Hugo.

"Nothing," He said opening the stall door.

I lead Finn inside, his chestnut coat gleamed with sweat. Hugo dropped a bag of brushes by the stall door.

"I am off to read my book!" He said walking out of the barn.

I smiled and rolled my eyes, and started brushing Finn again, once I had finished I asked the stable boy to put away the brushes and went for a stroll around the courtyard. My ladies maids followed me and we talked for a while. Mostly about my new stallion, and servant boys the girls had crushes on. We rounded the corner in the courtyard, and finished a first lap in the courtyard. We entered into the Grand Hall, I had spent the most of the day riding and taking care of Finn, and it was almost dinner. My ladies maids helped me change out of my dress and into my evening gown. My personal maid, Louna brushed my hair and slowly started styling it into a beautiful braided bun.

"Thank you, Louna." I said smiling.

"Of course your Highness." She said doing a small curtsey before leaving the room.

I stood, I wore a navy blue dress with gold trim and a white blaze coming down the middle. I opened the door and walked down the hall to the Dining Hall. A servant lead me to my seat and I sat, he pushed in my chair and I smiled. My father and mother came in and Hugo followed close behind. They sat and we ate, talking about our day and public matter, and scandals.

"We are going to need you to ride to Gredindail Castel." My father said looking at me.

"Why if I may ask?"

"We need you to negotiate, he is getting to close with his army."

"And you can not send someone else, why?"

My father raise an eyebrow and sighed, probably not wanting me to ask so many questions. I was not an obedient daughter, I had to know why and how.

"Because everyone else is busy, that is why, and you have not made many public appearances. You need to show that you can represent the crown, one day it will be yours." He said snapping.

"Alright, fine." I said raising the polished fork to my mouth.

Hugo looked at me, he could tell I was annoyed. I finished my food and abruptly left without asking. The doors opened for me. How dare my father insult me like that. He should not have raised his voice at something so silly, as a few questions. He normally would not do something like that. I stomped to my room, glaring at anyone who tried to make eye contact with me. I flopped on my bed and fell asleep.

I was falling, down farther, and farther. Everything seemed to blur. Faces flashed in front of me, scaring my slightly. Colors, and lights flashed. A man in a dark cloak flew at me I tried falling faster, so I could get away from him. Large scrolls fell smothering me, they were all official documents. Suddenly I saw what I was going to fall onto. A large crown, it gold spikes looked like it would hurt. I realised that would kill me. I tried grabbing things, anything, to help, sso I would not fall to my death. I finally grabbed a rope, and held on tight, I relaxed, I think I am safe. Suddenly I began to slip. I grabbed on a again, but I slipped more, i panicked and screamed, and fell...

I jolted awake, sweating. I was just a dream, I said to myself, just a dream. I climbed out of bed, a walk would do me good, maybe visit Finn. I opened the door, to find a boy who looked about ten. He held a long sword, he sat against the wall.

"Um, who may you be?" I asked, suddenly feeling self conscious, I was only wearing a nightgown.

The boy turned around and looked at me, "My name is Finn, I am sent here by your father to protect you..."
