Jes pov:
"I think he likes me." One girl squeals.
"He smiled at me during lunch." Another one nearly screams.
"I'm going to be his girlfriend." Another one yelps.
"Shut up you are not!" Another blonde yells.
"CAN ALL OF YOU SHUT UP PLEASE!" I scream at the group of bickering girls in front of my locker.
"Bitch what's your problem?" A blonde with brown eyes asks.
"My problem is you standing in front of my locker yelling over a boy who probably already has a girlfriend!" I explain quite annoyed with the girls.
"Don't ever back talk to me again!" The blonde one spits walking away with her minions following close behind her.
I roll my eyes and open my locker only to close it again because I forgot the reason for using it, I carry everything in my backpack I don't even need a locker.
- first bell rings -
I sit down in my desk and get out my science text book.
Ethan walks into the classroom nearly late but just on time. He takes quick steps towards the desk next to me and I smile at him before he takes his seat.
"Good morning Jes." He says taking out a notebook and paper.
Jes. Where did he hear my nickname?
"Good morning Ethan." I say with a small smirk.
"Can I ask you a question?" I ask as our teacher starts writing notes on the bored.
Ethan nods and puts his focus on me. His beautiful brown-ish green eyes lock onto my facial features and I look away a little uncomfortable with the amount of attention I'm receiving.
"How did you know my nickname?" I ask in a calm tone.
Ethan's eyes widen a small bit and his cheeks rise to a faint blush.
"I umm well I-I asked s-someone I don't know who, t-they told me about you a little, I-I asked a guy who was l-looking at you in the halls." He says in a somewhat embarrassed tone as his cheeks continue to flush shades of red.
I chuckle at his embarrassment because I found it quite cute.
"I see, I hope he told you good things." I smirk knowing it was probably Markus who he spoke too.
"He did, you seem like a nice girl." He says looking away shyly.
More like a dirty minded sweetheart, I think to myself.
"Alright class listen up!" Our teacher speaks and claps his hands twice to get everyone's attention.
The room becomes extremely silent and still.
"Now that I have everyone's attention, I'll be assigning a project due next week." Our teacher announces earning groans from students.
