As he was taking off his tight fitting blood red shirt, i took a seat on my cream living room sofa. My eyes met his as he stalked his way towards me biting his lip. Now, only a few centimeters away from me leaning in. It was going to happen ! i was going to kiss him.
"WAKE UP!" Claudia jumped up in shock only to meet face to face with her best friend Alaina.
Alaina had forest green eyes, flawless wheat brown skin, a cute button nose, ghost white teeth that complemented her heart shaped lips and to complete the look she had dark chestnut coils springing off her head.
"What the hell Alaina!" playfully pushing her off her bed. Claudia swang her freshly shaved legs off her double bed. "Ugh, i hate you. You interuped my dream." Claudia pouted and sighed.
"Was it about Javier again?" Alaina sung followed by a light giggle. Alaina is the only person that she has told that's she likes Javier. To Claudia, Javier is the most handsome boy on the planet, she knew that he was perfect for her. He didn't. He thought she was a crazy stalker girl since his New Years party but she doesnt know this.
Giggling along with her, Claudia quickly replied to her question with a quite yes. After she admited to having a dream about him she covered her face and smiled. "Its whatever though.."
"Cluadia!" A voice yelled from downstairs.
"Yes Mum!"
" You need to pack, and tell Alaina that her parents want her home to pack too!" Claudia looked at Alaina as she rolled her eyes.
"Ok Mum, Thanks!" She replied "You happy about going to the summer camp?"
"No.. But im happy im going with you, i dont think id be able to survive without you." she smiled
"Aw that's so sweet" Claudia unattractively scrunched up her face followed by patting the side of Alaina's face fully knowing that she hated it when anyone did that to her, it made her feel so small but Alaina knew she was playing with her.
"I take that back" she mumbled walking out of Claudia's room loud enough for her to hear.
Once she did her hygiene and packed, Claudia walked downstairs to be greeted by her step brother. His almond shaped eyes paired perfectly with his straight nose followed by his full pink lips that supported his black snake bite piercings. With one side of his hair shaved and the rest of his naturally jet black hair combed back, she had to admit, he looked quite sophisticated. He wore a very simple outfit, plain white t-shirt black jeans and white leather converse.
"You ready dia?" He asked with his icy crystal blue eyes piercing into Claudia's honey brown ones. Luca knew she was nervous about going to this camp, although she attempted to hide it, Luca could see right through the act.
Simply replying with a shaky yes, they said goodbye to their parents and proceeded to his white range rover. Picking up Alaina along the way it was fair to say that the journey to the camp was quite peaceful with Alaina listening to music, Claudia reading her favourite book, Candor, and her step brother nodding his head to the radio.

"Alaina wake up we're here!" Claudia tapped Alaina lightly and stared in awe. Claudia had never been to camp, so seeing one up close and being able to stay in one was incredible to her. The freshly mown, moss green grass on both sides of the dusty road, the thick healthy oak trees sprouting high above the ground, the sounds of the birds calling and responing flooded her ears filling her with delight. She knew this summer was going to be amazing however deep down she knew her nerves where going to get the better of her, she knew that she was never a social butterfly and socializing with her fellow campers would be hard.
Once out of the car Luca lead them to the camp office with their luggage. Alaina went in to hug Luca followed by Claudia. Alaina and Luca were like brother and sister, Alaina was close to Luca but not as close as Claudia.
"Im gonna miss you Lucy." Claudia addresed him by his nickname.
"Me too Claus."
Alaina said her goodbye and left the two to have their moment. Carrying her Teal backpack and two other bags, she wondered around this paradice.
• • • C L U A D I A ' S P O V • • •
"Hello campers !" The joyful camp leader addressed. She had fire red hair falling below her chest, smooth olive skin and a light sprinkle of freckles going from cheek to cheek.
"I hope you'll enjoy this years summer camp. we have improved the list of stuff your going to do this year..."
Hmm I wonder who's here..
Looking around I saw no familiar faces except for Alaina and Javier. Great I'm gonna have to- wait Javier?! What is he doing here ?
"You're seeing what I'm seeing right ?" I whispered nudging Alaina.
Turning to the side Alaina complained "Shh this woman is saying some- .. is that Javier?" She asked confused. "I swear he's suppose to be in Dubai with his sisters he was bragging about it in maths on the last day of term."
"Well clearly his parents had different plans .." Alaina squinted her eyes whilst shaking her head. She'd always hated lairs, Alaina would always tell the truth whither it nice or harsh, she didn't care.
"Alright campers! The list at the front is the names of your room mate. Once you've found them head towards to main office to get your keys. any questions?"
I looked around hoping no one put their hand up. Sadly there was always one.
Her dyed fiery locks fell down her back in contrast with her pale pasty skin. Bright pink lipstick smothered her lips and what she was wearing ... well let's not get into that.
"You can tell she's a slut" Alaina whispered beside me. I smiled in agreement.
The girl cleared her throat to get everyone's attention "Will the rooms be mixed? Like, you know boys and girls"
"Well, erm?"
"Vicky" she stated
"Well then , vicky , the rooms will be separated between gender. However the rules can be bent under certain circumstances. But I don't think you will need to do that vicky. Anymore questions?" Clearly seeing Vicky's hand up "nope? Okay!"
Everyone scurried to the front to see who was their room mate.
"Dia!" Alaina exclaimed from behind me. I turnt round to see her with another girl.
"This is jade she's our room mate!"
Jade was beautiful, her eyes were unique, one was an icy cold blue and the other was a warm inviting light brown. Her olive skin was flawless and clear, not one spot on her button nose and purely white teeth to match her thin lips.
"Hi I'm jade, and you are Dia?" Her minty breath crossed my face as she stepped forward pointing her finger towards me carelessly.
"You can call me that if you want but my names Claudia." I automatically trusted her, something was telling me she was good with secrets.
