"This is nice." Light managed to say, breath visible in the chilly night air.
"I suppose it is." L stared blankly to Light, thumb brushing against his bottom lip, Light noticed this and gazed back, brown optics wondrous.
"Are you seriously calculating my actions again? Tsk." He half heartedly laughed, shaking his head, taking another swig of his drink.
"Of course, Light-kun. I always do. You should know this by now." A slight smile unintentionally met his mouth, causing the brunette to follow the action.
"Hm, I don't know, Ryuzaki, you look pretty intrigued with my breath taking completion, if you ask me."
"The truth behind that is only—"
"—Oh, shut up, Ryuzaki." Light rolled his eyes, interrupting.
"Kira's rather feisty today." L responded turning his head, ignoring Light's reaction with a smirk.
"Ryu, honestly, bud. If I was Kira, wouldn't you have found evidence by now?" His eyes now focussed upon the slim man.
"And if I did, what would you do?" L questioned, now facing the now confused killer.
"I would, well, do what any other criminal would do in the situation...?" The boy hiccuped, listening now curiously to L's words.
"No, Light, you'd do exactly what you're doing right now."
"Would I now...?" Light teased, clicking his tongue. "Pity, really, you can't figure out all my tricks. That wouldn't be fair." The brunette flirtingly pushed L to the floor, forgetting that the handcuffs held them together. Both of them collapsed to the floor with a thud.
"I'm not sure, Light, was that a confession I heard?"
"Of course not." Light replied, laughing.
"You know, you're sixty percent—"
"–Shut up, you frog. Do you think I care?" Kira clumsily leaned forward to hold a finger to L's lips, clearly more than tipsy. "It's not like you'd tell anyone anyway."
It's kinda his job, imagay.
"Light – you're not thinking straight."
"Psh, I'm anything but straight, idiot."
"Light, I'm being serious."
"Too serous. /Lighten/ up a bit, all you do is watch me. If you're gonna watch me, watch me pull off these five shots—"
"—Light, I'm starting to think that you–"
And the shot glasses that were spread across the table were now empty. The drinks completely gone.
Perhaps he'd confess if he's drunk - would that be wrong? Taking advantage?
Psh, nah.
"Light, don't mind me asking, but how can you still stay content with all the lies and guilt...?"
"I don't have guilt. Who do you think-...I have nothing to be guilty about anyway, froggy." Light slowly blinked to him, face emotionless. "Let me have a good time, I suggest you do the same, genius."
