Matt went for a walk.
He looked for Emily.
He saw her running.
He wonders why she’s running away.
He followed her.
She found her at the park.
She cried.
Matt approached her.
He knew what she was feeling.
He made his best effort.
His best comfort
He sang her a lullaby.

Crying it all out was the hardest thing to do.
Emily felt secured.
Her sobs stopped.
Matt put her arms around her.
She felt weird.
She faced Matt with her wet eyes.
She looked at her.
Eyes piercing Emily
His face got closer.
And closer.
Closer
Too close.
And he leaned for a kiss.
Her eyes closed.
A kiss on a forehead.
And Emily felt blank.
