Ch.8 Sleep Walking

I hear footsteps in the hall. I get up to see who it is. I open my door and look in the hall to see Paige walking down the hall and down the stairs. "Paige!" I whisper yell. No answer. Why didn't she answer me? I follow her down the stairs and she walks out the front door.

As she makes her way across the yard and to the road and set of head lights come flying. "Paige!!" I yell running pushing her out of the way she smacks her head on the road. the car hit my leg and I scream in pain as the car comes to a hult right before the back tier hits my leg. I relax resting my head on the road crying. Paige get up and runs over to me "are you okay!" she asks picking my head up and places it in her lap. "go get help." I say rubbing her cheek aha nods sets my head down and runs to get help. my head is bleeding from where I hit the road. my eyes get heavy.

but I have to stay away.

Paige come running back with every body with a tear stand face. "I Got Help!" she say picking my head back up her lap covers with my blood. "like you said." She rubs my cheek "stay with me." and she kisses my cheek. "Oaky, I will try." I say trying to smile at her. Jared picks her up. "No!No! Alayna!" she yells kicking and slapping him. Mason get on his knees. i look him in the eyes "Don't pity me." I say through gritted teeth.He nods and gently picks me up. I rest my head on his chest and close my eyes.

"She was sleep walking and a car came flying down the road and...."

I could feel him set in the van with me in his lap as they speed down the road.

Masons POV:

"Get Up!" I hear Paige's sad, scared, shaky voice yell. "Alayna Needs Help!" she yelled. That got me up. I look at her her beautiful face was covered with tears. "What's Wrong!"I ask running and getting the others up. "Get Up Alayna Needs Help!" I yell banging on every door. She runs down stairs and out the front door. Then I see Alayna laying on the road. I freeze what happen? We all run over to her Logan and Paige crying. Paige runs up to Alayna "I Got Help!" and set her head in her lap "like you said." and rubs the tears away from Alayna's face. "stay with me." and bends over and kisses Alayna's cheek. "Okay, I will try." Alayna whispers. Jared walks over and picks up Paige. "No!No! Alayna!" she yells kicking and slapping him. I walk over and get on my knees beside Alayna. She looks me in the eyes "Don't pity me." she says through gritted teeth. I nod and as gently as possible. She rests her head on my chest and closes her eyes. I won't to yell at her to open them and stair straight at me. but then she speaks. "She was sleep walking and a car came flying down the road and...." I set down in the van with her in my lap and Luke takes his shirt off and hands it to me, and we are all in speeding down the road and all I can hear in Logan and Paige crying "C'here." I say to them "What." Paige jumps out of Jared's arms and sets in between me and Luke. "Is she going to okay?" she asks. I nod still looking at her then she speaks "It's okay, my head is pounding." Alayna says with a small laugh but it fades just as quick as it comes. "We are almost there." I say. She looks in so much pain, but she still looks so beautiful. I have bothers who what her to. I was the one who seen her at the airport. so why can't I have her? fist I am gonna win her heart over. I smile at the thought. "Why are you smiling?!" Paige yells Way to kill the mood! think think umm.. "Because I now she is going to be okay." I say looking at her. She smiles at me. "You think so?" she asks "I think so, no, I know so." I say

"We're Here!" Luke yells time to run I open the door and fast walk to the door right when I make it in I start yelling "I Need Help! She Needs Help!! Someone Help Me!!" I yell a Doctor comes with 3 Nurses with a bed I set her down and tell them what she told me. As we run down the hall and they stop us. "you can't go any further." the doctor says pushing on my chest. I look through the door to see her smile at me. I relax and turn and walk to the waiting room and hold Paige as we all fall asleep.
