Chapter 22

The three of us waited in my room until we heard people start coming over, then we joined them downstairs. The 4 boys were there. They were in the living room with Chaz.

      The three of us sat on the couch. I was in the middle. my head was on Liam's shoulder and my feet on Brooke.

      "Well aren't you just a little princess over there?" Nick asked. I giggled.

      "There's no need to be jealous." I answered, before the doorbell rang. By the time everyone had arrived, there were about 15-20 of us scattered about in their own groups.

      "You better start figuring it out." I whispered to Liam.  He smiled and walked away. The 1st person he walked up to was Justin.

     'Why him?' I thought before my attention was drawn to a blonde girl standing next to me.

     "Hi I'm Hailey." She said. She seemed really cool and a great sense of fashion.

      "I'm Maddie." I answered. We instantly started talking she was very funny and seemed like she would be really fun to hang out with. I saw her as a type of person that is active and goes on a lot of adventures.

      I went into the other room to find my phone so she could put her number in it. I turned the corner to see Liam and Ryan talking. Chaz was standing next to Ryan and looked at me.

      I started to walk towards them but Chaz came my way and stopped in front of me.

      "Maddie he doesn't know yet." Chaz said

       "I was going to get my phone." I said smartly as my excuse to stop them from talking. I guess a part of me didn't want them to be friends after all.

       Chaz reached into his pocket and handed me my phone. He turned me and pushed me the opposite way. I sighed and walked back towards Hailey. We started to talk some more and she added herself to my contacts.

              <<<LIAM'S P0V:>>>

     "You better figure it out." Maddie whispered. As soon as the words left her mouth, I smirked at her and walked towards the guy I thought was Ryan. I remember seeing all of the guys at Maddie's party but I couldn't quite remember which one she was yelling at. I just remember talking to Brooke and then her kissing me.

     I walked towards him. He was wearing a black leather jacket. I asked simple questions to try to get to know him and realized that it could possibly be him. He was angry when he was talking to be and seemed to have a little bit of jealousy. I knew that I would have to keep him in mind.

      Next I went to the guy who called Maddie a princess when she was laying on me and using Brooke as a foot rest.

    We carried on with a nice conversation. He was very calm, accepting, and talked to me as if we were good friends. I eliminated him from my choices, but I defiantly wanted to talk to him more later. He would be a fun person to hang out with.

     Next I approached a guy who was extremely high. Within the first 10words that he spoke I knew that it couldn't have been Ryan. This guy was way too stupid and I know that Maddie would never want to deal with him being high.

    Lastly I walked to Chaz and the last guy of the 4."

    "Dude remember when we took Maddie on that roller coaster and it broke down?" He asked. The way he brought up Maddie in front of me showed jealously that she wasn't his. That caused me to believe he was Ryan but I still needed to talk to him a little more to be completely sure.

     Chaz walked away from us for a few seconds and the conversation became very awkward. He did show a small amount of anger like the guy wearing the leather jacket. As I was thinking about him he walked over to us. Having them both to talk to at the same time made it it easier to compare which one Ryan was.

    I excused myself from the conversation and walked behind Maddie who was talking to another girl at that moment.

     "Red shirt, white shoes, fireplace." I slowly whispered into her ear. She casually turned her head to see if I was correct.

          <<<MADDIE'S P0V>>>

      "Red shirt, white shorts, fireplace." I heard Liam unexpectedly whisper into my ear.

     I turned around slowly to see if he had guessed correctly. I instantly got goosebumps as I saw Ryan standing near the fireplace wearing a red shirt and white shoes.

       "How did you know?"

       "I'll explain all of that later." He replied softly. Kissing me cheek leaving me alone. I watched to see who he was going to talk to. He went towards Nick. It made me feel good that he had a great judgement of people. I smiled to myself before I turned back around to talk to Hailey.
