Chapter 29:

I already had my hair and make-up done from the photoshoot, so all I needed was to change. I needed to clear my head, and this was my escape to not think about him going away to college. I was speeding home, frustrated.

I got out of the car and slammed my door shut. I walked into the house. Everyone was sitting on the couch ready to go.

"Mad, do you wanna talk about it?" Chaz asked.

"No. I'll be down in 5." I answered not stopping to even look at him.

I ran into my room. I found a red dress that I bought in New York. I added gold accessories, and heels. I put more lip gloss on and Grabbed my gold and red clutch purse. I put my phone and money into it. I closed my door and walked down the stairs.

"Let's go." I said when everyone was staring at me.

Hailey walked next to me.

"Hey suga. You okay?" She questioned.

"Sorta... I'll explain later." I replied.

"No worries, just tell me when your ready." She said as we were piling into the car.

I sat next to her and Ryan. Justin and Nick were in the front, Justin was of course driving. Chaz and Geo were in the way back. Everyone was talking except for me. In stared out of the window deep in thought. I looked up in the mirror to see Justin looking at me. He looked away as soon as I saw him.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Ryan whispered so only I could hear him.

"Not around everyone." I whispered back. He nodded. A few minutes later we pulled into a parking space. The 7 of us walked into the building, but quickly separated. I walked straight to the bar, Hailey and Ryan followed.

"Im just wondering, are you dating any of them?" I asked, taking a sip of the drink i had just received. She giggled.

"No, me and Geo hooked up once and then I hooked up with Justin. Both were over a year ago though and I would never have real feelings for either of them. Both times i was drunk and upset which is not a good mix." She hinted. I smiled. "So whats going on with you and your boyfriend?" She asked.

I took another sip of my drink.

"Well..." I began. "He decided to tell me that he's going away for college in. Chicago in a few weeks." I stated.

"And he just told you now? He's obviously had to have known for longer than a week."

"Yea, I don't understand why either. I think he was just going to go to be honest,but since I went to Chicago this week he decided to tell me today." I said becoming upset.

"Thats really shitty. He probably would've just left so that be wouldn't have to deal with you being upset." Ryan said. I nodded.

"Pretty much." I said quietly, but loud enough that they could hear me over the music.

"No wonder why your upset." Hailey said.

"Yea but I don't want to worry about that tonight, I just wanna have fun and clear my mind."

"I think we could help with that." Hailey commented smiling at Ryan.

"Definitely." He answered. I took a few shots and had another drink. Before I knew it I was drunk. I took Hailey's hand and dragged her to dance with Me

Before long, Maddie was completely wasted. She dragged Hailey to dance and I followed them. She looked like she was having fun and wasn't worried about a thing. It made me wonder if she did it while we were dating because all of the things I did.

Justin pulled Hailey to the side a little. I walked towards Maddie so that she wasn't alone. She turned quickly around and unexpectedly smashed her lips against mine. I didn't mind, I had wanted her to kiss me for months, I missed her. I regretted everything I ever did, so of course I kissed back.
