"Master you stupid!!"
I heard Minseo screaming and flying into my direction. She hugged me around my stomach and was about to fly away. Suddenly the left wing of her got shoot and had a big hole in it.
I looked shocked at her wings. Mineos face blank and shocked as well. Her tight hug around my stomach slowly disappeared and she sunk to the ground. Aejung started to laugh.
"Now your beautiful wings are destroyed just because you had to keep that pitiful human being save." She said and walked up to us.
"Stay away from her!" I shouted pissed and Aejung stopped. She looked at me questioning. "You don't need to keep Minseo save she can take care of herself. What could you even do about it?"
She kept on walking and pushed me away. Aejung grabbed Minseos hair; making her look up.
I just watched the scene in shock. I cannot help her! Why am I so weak!? Why can I not keep her save!?
Minseo flinched in pain. Her left wing was broken on the ground. She could not lift it anymore and blood was streaming down. "Now I'm gonna take you back to our master. Your wings aren't that important he just needs your body." Aejung spoke and spread her wings again.
I screamed in frustration. "You cannot take her away from me!!" I stood up and ran into her direction. "Master stop!!!" Minseo shouted and looked at me shocked. "Stupid human! You really annoy me now!"
Suddenly Minseo grabbed Aejungs neck and pulled her harshly down. Minseo quickly kneeled on her stomach started to stomp on her metal wings; breaking them in pieces. I stopped running and watched her in shook.
I never saw Minseo like this. Her eyes all red and her gaze full of hatred and pain. Tears were running down her face again. Aejung was only smiling and tears ran down her face too.
"I'M NOT GONNA GO BACK TO HIM UNDERSTAND THAT AEJUNG!!" Minseo screamed and stopped stomping her wings.
Aejung giggled broken. How fucked is this angel?
Minseo got on her knees beside her and looked at Aejung sadly. She strock her cheek softly. "Understand that... That I wanna be happy.." Minseo said. "You really changed Minseo.. how is this possible.? We angels aren't allowed to be happy..." Aejung said broken.
"...but that's why humans are so kind. They give us the happiness that we want.." Minseo answered. "My master.. loves me.. without using my body.." My heart beat skipped and I walked up to them.
"I don't understand.." Aejung said and her smile faded. She broke down crying hard. Aejungs wings shatter when Minseo pulled her up into a hug. I kneeled down beside them.
"Master.." Minseo whispered. Aejung looked up at me and was a bit surprised. Minseo strock her head softly. "Minseo my master does not allow me to show emotions..." She whispered continuing to look at me.
"Understand Aejung.. even tho my master is a human.. he has a heart.. letting me show those emotions I had once.. do you remember the time before we had that horrible master?" Minseo asked her.
Aejungs eyes went blank. "I remember." "Minseo why were you forced?"
Minseo stopped smiling.
"We are slaves to the kingdom above us. The angels that have the control over us..." Minseo whispered and squeezed Aejung against her chest.
"You got to carried away.. again... he did manipulate you again.." Aejung just nodded and hugged Minseo tightly. "Why did you broke my wings?" "You wanted to hurt my master.." Minseo said.
"Can you not break the contract?" I asked. "No.. we are not allowed to. Only if her master breaks it. How he did it with me.." She sighed. "..but our life's would be useless without a master." Minseo added. "That's why I was so lucky that you found me master.."
I gulped and strock her hair softly. "Can we break this contract with our force?" I asked again and grabbed Aejung by her arm. I looked at her chocker. "No! Don't break it!" She said shocked. I let go of her.
Aejung stood up quickly and ran away. "It would be a bad idea.. we will see each other again." She shouted.
Minseo looked at me. "I'm sorry master." She said and laid down. "Minseo.. your left wing.." I whispered. "It's alright.."
"No it's not." I grabbed her under the legs and lifted her up. "Let's go home and heal you.." I whispered and started to walk with her in my arms.
Fast forward
Minseo was laying on the bed and was a bit resting. Her left wing was difficult to heal. It was really badly wounded. I sat beside her on the floor and was resting my head on the bed.
Suddenly I felt her hand sliding trough my hair. I looked up at her and she was smiling at me. "Master you should eat." She said tired. "I'm alright I stay by your side." I said and grabbed her hand.
Minseo sighed. "I don't know if you can heal the wound.. maybe I will never fly again." Minseo said and didn't look at me. "...never fly again.." She repeated and tears broke free.
Her hands traveled to her face to cover her eyes. "But I wanna fly again..." She cried.
I strock Minseos hair and felt miserable. Why did I follow her? If I didn't had followed her she wouldn't get wounded and didn't need to protect me... Why did she protect me!?... Because I'm her master...
"I'm sorry Minseo... I'm so sorry Minseo.. because of me..." I said and my voice cracked. Minseo slowly calmed down.
Suddenly someone knocked on the door. I stood up slowly and walked to the door to look after it who it was. I opened the door and saw a smiling Jiho infront the door.
"Hey dude! How are you doing?" I let him in and walked without saying anything back to the room where Minseo was. "Are you alright?" He asked. He walked after me and was shocked after seeing Minseo laying on the bed broken.
"What happened to Minseo!?" He asked shocked while he stared at her wings.
"We got attacked." Minseo whispered and smiled. "That is terrible!!... EVEN YOUR WINGS ARE TURNING BLACK!!" Jiho freaked.
My eyes widened and I looked at Minseos wings. Her wings were turning black slowly. "MINSEO TELL ME PLEASE THIS IS NOT BAD!! PLEASE.. please.. please.. please.." My voice cracked and I broke down crying beside her.
I felt her hand on my head. I looked up and saw her smiling.
"Please lie to me Minseo.." I said and even more tears ran down my face.
"It's not bad." Minseo whispered. I grabbed her hand from my head and kissed it and squeezed it against my cheek.
Jiho was sobbing beside us and looked like a mess. His black hair was all messy; his glasses weren't on his nose.
"M-m-m-minseo is going to d-die!?" Jiho sobbed louder.
"I will not die.. I just... Turn different..." Minseos smile faded and she started to cry loudly. I looked at her shocked. She never cried that loud.
I looked at her chocker around her neck.
The bell on it slowly breaks.
"Minseo! PLEASE! DON'T LOSE YOUR MEMORIES!"
And her wings are disabled.
Her wings are her everything.
Will she forget her master?
